Oh no not Ducky! Agree with most of the posts about JLC character as a flop. Gives me the heebie jeebies when she's on screen. Hope all characters with that exception are back and ready for another outstanding season. I too agree that JLC character will have some involvement or could be...Leon who turns out to be good/bad guy??????? He's a bit untrustworthy at times. We shall see. Great show indeed.

I can"t belive that NCIS would kill Ducky off the show. He is important compotent fo the show. It will never be the same.

I love the JLC character & her relationship w/Gibbs. Also love that it is age appropriate. I hope she comes back!!

Hmmm. It is getting too formulaic. It was especially bad this year. In watching the season enders of NCIS, NCIS-LA and Criminal minds over the last 2 nights, all 3 had explosions that almost killed off a major part of the team.
One of those would have been fine...but 3 in a row? Really?

Noooooooo not ducky come on guys not ducky. They are a family just like Palmer said. I shielded my eyes when she JLC went to kiss Gibbs. I found it funny that she left the building like she was tipped off by dearing { maybe}. who knows. But I hope she is not going to be on season 10 and if she is I hope Gibbs find out that she had something to do with the bomb. Tony and ziva why would they go in an elevator? We were taught that in elementary school. McGee hope he will be ok so again they are a family. Please let ducky live. Please let all of them be ok. This is my show on Tuesday. Love TONY always love Tony. Tony needs McGee to make his cute remarks. Looking forward to season 10 hope to see them all please.

Over 180 comments the first day...bravo, NCIS ...although most all carry the same theme and love for David McCallium's "Ducky" and hate for Jamie Lee Curtis and her Dr Ryan character! Great show, and good finale. Season 10 should be interesting because NCIS never fails its fans! Everyone will return, a little worst for wear, but happily reunited by the second episode! Great job, all!

Oh, no! Ducky, you simply must live! I'm surprised you didn't stagger away from the ocean, instead of toward it, tho. Your intelligence and skill at connecting the dots lead me to believe you would have figured out you were, indeed, in the throes of a heart attack (or something terrible). It seems like you would have given yourself the best advantage to survive/be found. Also, wouldn't NCIS headquarters have an overhead announcement code to alert everyone about a bomb, and the need to evacuate ASAP? Am anxiously awaiting Season 10!! Congrats to Jimmy on his nuptuals. It caught me from the start that Jamie Lee Curtis called Mcgee Agent David when she was walking through the door in the very first scene. I had to replay it to make sure I heard it right! maybe I still heard it wrong because I couldn't believe she got the names mixed up

although not one of the best finale it was better than i was expecting really hope no one dies but if an actor wants to leave a show and there contract is up for renual not much you can do.nice to see ziva wouldnt leave without tony shows that she has feelings for him.

I have a particular affinity for NCIS, beyond the first-class writing and acting. As a teen in the '60's, I spent a day on the set of 'The Man From U.N.C.L.E.', and thus, met and talked to David McCallum. I also met his father, who was a cellist in a classical string ensemble, which played at a venue in the town in Texas where I lived for a time. I also spent a couple of days at a track meet at the Coliseum in L.A., and by chance was sitting next to Mark Harmon. His dad, football great and renowned sports announcer Tom Harmon, was calling the action from trackside, and interviewed Jim Ryan, after he set a new world record in the metric mile. So in a matter of speaking, I feel like I have a special connection to this show and the performers.
With any well done show, it's easy to imagine the characters and situations are real, and you hate to see anyone from this 'family' go bye-bye.I hope in the fall we find everyone maybe a little worse for the wear, but still with us.

No one leaves NCIS - all together they hold the show together - they must all stay. When Peterson left CSI - the show crumbled. Don't let this happen to NCIS - It is a great show and I really enjoy watching. I look forward to my Tuesday Night show - Hang in there guys - you are great. Ducky - don't go away!!!

Did not like JLC on the show kissing LJG with her Activia breath. Not even a red head! Ducky has to be okay! Jethro has enough ghosts to talk to already!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! They can't kill Ducky or the others off then the show wouldn't be the same. The ending was exactly what I was expecting, after this is NCIS we're talking about.

@MJanvier86: Wrong. Vocal folds, or vocal cords, are NOT muscle; they are actually composed of mucous membranes stretched between connective tissue and cartilage. They do not shrink or grow depending on usage or body weight gain/loss. While it is true that the size of the vocal cord helps to determine its pitch, ultimately it is the presence of testosterone that regulates the depth of a person's voice: the more testosterone, the deeper the voice. Testicular cancer (especially involving Leydig's or interstitial cells) will interfere with the production of testosterone and therefore change the pitch of a man's voice. Radiation and sometimes chemotherapy for testicular and prostate cancer can lower testosterone production, thereby raising vocal pitch. To that end, it is not unreasonable to assume that Sean Murray may have had cancer, or may still have cancer, but is very likely currently undergoing some type of drug regimen that is interfering with his testosterone production.

I was pretty disappointed by this finale...considering they were messing with the story for three episodes prior it felt really anticlimactic. The story-telling felt rather contrived...with the villain always arbitrarily six steps ahead of Gibbs and the team. And overall the season lacked some of the best NCIS ingredients...the kind of powerful emotion generated by Gibbs' troubled relationship with his dad, or Ziva's abduction by terrorists in Somalia...these were arcs/episodes that brought me to tears. JLC is a great actress but I don't think the writers ever began to get below the surface of her relationship. Way too polite! Watching Gibbs put his famous gut on hold is painful. I want to see how he REALLY feels about JLC...and Leon...that relationship is way too tame. I want to see some cases that crack the habitual behavior patterns we associate with these characters and with their relationships so something unpredictable and maybe not so nice spills out. You know these event could led to tony finallying leaving Gibbs and getting his own team maybe he will Join LA.Since Mcgee dad created NCIS I can not see him leaving the show maybe taken a break but not leaving the show, Ziva has been wanting to Trun NCIS away from crime darma and move it towards Romances for the last 3 years so Im sure she stay, And we will find out these summer if Abby goes to jail.

Per an interview today with Gary Glasberg with Entertainment Weekly Ducky is NOT dead. He had a heart attack and will now need to rely on Jimmy more. He deals with death every day but now has to deal with his own infallibility. I doubt anyone in the cast will actually be killed off unless RC, PP, MW, or SM do not renew their contracts. They all love the show per their tweets and I doubt any of them want to leave. However, I can see Tony and Ziva being hurt in the elevator, Gibbs being a bit hurt having to protect Abby. And poor McGee looks like he got nailed with some of the blast and all that glass from the window. And where was Vance? It looked liked he never left the building after he told McGee to leave. I see injuries, not deaths. It just depends on how bad the injuries were.
I though it was a very good finale, much improved from last year. Everyone was involved in this one. I love all the cast and they all did a great job.

I posted earily this morning....now its gone.... must be I was to opinionated about jmc. Dont like her for NCIS. She doesn't fit. Why is Gibbs putting up with her...Ducky isn't dying, you can't take him..he is not old. We love the cast as it is, change it and the ratings will go.
