Will Henry survive live to see season two? How far will Regina and Emma go to save their son? Is the end of the long-standing curse?

These are just a few of the questions Once Upon a Time fans are asking themselves following "An Apple Red as Blood," the penultimate episode of the ABC hit's opening season. How will they be answered on the finale?

Look for Emma and Regina to actually team up in order to save Henry's life, while Charming tries to escape from the Evil Queen’s grasp so he reunite with Snow White on "A Land Without Magic."

this is going to be the best show this season because of course, its the season finale, but i think when they see henry lying on that hospital bed they shouldnt fight, cause i mean whos gonna be like "oh look our son is dying lets fright for his life" no, they should be over there praying for him, not trying to kill each other. And emma will start to believ because the director, kinda has my number, we talk about the show. Now we record it on DVR then watch it monday so we can skip comecials, but if any questions give me a call at: 919-247-0008. i know alll about the show call and give me suggestions!

Okay, but isn't August made of enchanted wood, so even more a part of FTL, and should have been sucked into Storybrooke just like Jefferson?

Here's a question that just occurred to me: how did Jefferson end up in Storybrooke? Wasn't he in WONDERLAND when the spell went down? If he was in FTL why couldn't he reunite with Grace? If the curse works across realities, then Why didn't it affect Bae and Emma and August after all? hatter is essentially part of FTL, so it makes sense he was affected.

I think the big cliffhanger will be Emma partially letting go of her denial
I doubt it will be "partially" I am guessing she will be in full believe-mode next week due to Henry being hurt and her being into August's room she will actually see the wood, hence freaking out.

I think the big cliffhanger will be Emma partially letting go of her denial. She visits August and finds him completely turned into wood. I hope I'm wrong because I don't want August to die.

If the curse breaks, we lose the two worlds thing, which really is part of my interest. I would see magic more seeping through then the entire group heading back to Fairyland. I
No we don't. Rumple never said that curse breaking would transport everyone back or anything :)

a show about magic!it can happen!
That does not meant hat it should stop using certain rules. The show has established death as permanent. impossible to do. Its one of the core rules of the world setting in this work of fiction and part of what makes it grounded, more realistic.

@ loralee - good question doctor whale is the only character we've met in Storybrooke who hasn't been given backstory yet. Unless his surname is literal and he is in fact Monstro, then we've been given very little to go off. It seems odd to explain everyone else, unless this is going to be a significant story point down the track and the mystery is deliberate. Hmmm...

I think that Emma kissing Henry on the forehead is pretty much "true love's kiss" in this situation and it'll wake Henry up. That should warrant Emma to believe in the curse more then she'll eventually go to August's room only to see that he's almost all wood already. I doubt that some sort of huge battle is going to go down though because there might not be enough time in the episode for that. It could end with Emma accepting that she's the one that can break the curse. We'll see! It'll be an interesting enough finale with all that going on but I read that the Huntsman, Belle, Malificent, and Jefferson will all be in it so that definitely adds more to the episode. Especially the Belle part.
