Photos from the Supernatural season finale are out, but let's not look too far ahead just yet, TV Fanatics.

Let's look back, in fact, to last Friday's "Reading is Fundamental." It was an episode that took us deep into the Leviathan world, and it's one the Supernatural Round Table panel of Sean McKenna, Carissa Pavlica and Carla Day is here to break down...

Is Castiel's fate to remain a broken angel to atone for his wrongs?
Carissa: I don't think so. But I hope he remains a funny angel. He had me laughing out loud. He was back to the old Cas and I loved every minute of it.

Carla: Probably not. I'm guessing he will do something to redeem himself before the season is out. But, will he survive or have to sacrifice himself? As much as I love Cas, it may be time for him to go.

Sean: I'm not sure what direction the show will take him especially if Sera Gamble steps down as showrunner. I like to think at some point he'll be put back together, but either way, he cracks me up.

Why does Dick Roman want the word of God?
Carissa: From what I could tell, the "advanced placement" kid said the word told how to take down the Leviathan. That would be one good reason to keep it out of the hands of anyone who might be able to read it!

Carla: I don't think it could be as simple as keeping it away from others. If that was the case, why risk even digging it up. There must be something on the tablet that will help him maintain power.

Sean: I vaguely remember someone saying that there was more than one "word of God." Perhaps each one does something different, i.e. tell how to kill the Leviathan, take over the world, gain new powers. There has to be something more to it.

With Meg's hints, can Crowley be a worthy "big bad" or is he better in smaller doses?
Carissa: I don't think I can take him seriously as a big bad. His sense of humor is too sharp. A true bad has to be bad. I couldn't even take Lucifer as an all around evil dude with all of his snarky comments, how can I fall under Crowley's spell? I can't.

Carla: Smaller doses, definitely. He isn't "big bad" worthy because he will change his allegiance whenever it serves his purpose.

Sean: I really like him in the small doses because he pops in out to annoy the brothers at the most inconvenient times. But maybe he might be a good puppet master for a scarier monster the brothers have to face.

Will Sam and Dean find the other two "fallen" by the end of the season?
Carissa: They might find them, but I'm guessing it will be a season ending cliff hanger type of situation. Woot! Bring on Season 8!

Carla: Hmm ... maybe. (Yes, a non-answer.)

Sean: They might find them, but they probably won't be able to use their blood to kill the Leviathan until at least next season.

Are you surprised that Angels are powerless against the Leviathan?
Carissa: I don't know if they are powerless or just dumbasses. They acted like they didn't know they could be touched, which makes me wonder if some sort of spell might be hanging out there. They were just standing there like secret service men with their arms crossed in front of them. They made no moves at all to defend themselves or flee. Can't angels just disappear? After the first one was gutted, the second should have just popped back into the space time continuum. I think there's more to the story.

Carla: There probably aren't powerless as much as don't know how to approach them. Perhaps, the tablet will tell them what they need to do to get rid of the Leviathan.

Sean: Maybe they are overly confident? Didn't realize it was a Leviathan? I want them to be able to fight if only for a little, but it is interesting that even the all powerful angels can be beaten. Paper beats rock. Leviathan beats Angel.
