I still think Delena's endgame. Why would the writers put in those flashbacks and let Elena say that thing about Damon consuming her (that sounds... Kinky. LOL) if they aren't gonna end up together? And yes, the look on Elena's face when Stefan kissed her wasn't the look of love. It was the look of pity.

I am in the minority when I say that I enjoyed this episode. I think that it tied up some loose ends and left others tantalisingly open. I am rather annoyed that Elena copped out by choosing the safe option but hey ho, 3 months and that'll all change. I thought Caroline saying goodbye was beautiful, and I'm intrigued about what'll happen with this new, rather odd triangle with Klaus sharing Tyler's body. Damon on the phone did make me giggle!
Also amused that everyones glad that Bored Now is threatening to leave. My two pennysworth is that please stop expressing your opinion like it's all of ours, and that it's the only one that matters! Thank you!

Elena loves Stefan which is why she choose him. BECAUSE SHE LOVES HIM! Safe or not it doesnt matter because she wants to be with him. That flashback to Damon meeting her first was dumb and pointless. And a little creepy. She said she cared for Damon not loved him. And I really dont see how that flashback could change her mind. It doesnt change how she met Stefan

Maybe I'm reading into it too much but...in one of the breakdowns for the finale I read that the episode was more about making the right choice for love (even if it wasn't the one you wanted). Did anyone else get the feeling that Elena was just going through the motions with Stefan? It didn't feel legitimate to me. So I know this is really analyzing but here's what I think:
Elena knew she was dying from the hemorrhage and she knew that Damon and Stefan might die too. I think even though part of her loves Stefan that she feels a great deal like she owes him for saving her from the wreck. Did you see her face after Stefan said "in case we don't have time for goodbye later"? That didn't look like love to me....it looked like guilt and obligation. I really feel that Elena thought it would cause more damage to both brothers if she told Damon that she wanted him. Elena KNEW she was dying but she wasn't 100% sure they would (how could she be giving everything she's been through?). Do

I thought it was an interesting finale with a little too much going on. That left it feeling a little bit confusing. That being said, tuning Elena was a big change and very surprising at this point since there has been so little build to it this particular season.
I am not a rabid shopper of either couple both Delena and Stelena have real reasons why they work. Damon and Elena have amazing passionate chemistry and he loves her deeply. That being said, I am glad she choose Stefan. He makes her happy to be alive and that is such an important thing, he gave her life purpose. Just wow. I thought the writers once again showed the deep contrast between the couples when they had Stefan save Matt because Elena wanted it. Damon would have never done it- he would have saved her life against her wishes. And that is the difference right there, the two brother's have different definitions of what it means to put Elena first. For Damon, he will do anything to ensure her life, for Stefan, he w

The episode was pure perfection.
It was an emotional roller-coaster.
While i knew that Elena would turn it still shocked me!
And the twist with Klaus that was great too.And since Klaus is not dead and Julie Plec said that Morgan isn't going anywhere the real question is:is tyler dead?hope not.i'm klaroline shipper but still like Tyler!
And the tragic scenes.I cries my eyes out in like every scene.Alaric's demise,Damon's loss-es(real and not),Damon now having noone,Klaus' demise(ok even if not real),Damon's goodbyes,Damon's flashback,Caroline's goodbyes...it a really intense and fantastic and emotional and tragic and beautiful episde!
Also the car crash scene with Elena and Matt drowning combined with her memories of her paremts...that scene deserves every award put there..that scene and ian's face whe n Alaric died!
Btw does not this finalr scream DELENA endgame? maybe they shered only one scene but still everything DELENA was huuuuge!the irony, their flashback conversation.

Alaric :(((( Personally I would have preferred either Jeremy or Matt dead but oh well.
Elena as a vampire. I called that one! I knew it! I knew it! I love it, too. Finally she won't need protection anymore, thank God. I think she knew she had vampire blood in her system. Why else would she encourage Stefan to save just Matt when Stefan could have saved both. I say, Elena knew and she wanted to die and become a vampire so Alaric, the vamp hunter will also die, therefore keeping her loved ones safe in case Klaus was bluffing about being the one who started their bloodline. or she didn't know about the vamp blood in her system and she thought she'd just die because Stefan, Damon, Caroline, etc are all gonna die anyway because of "Klaus's death"

I'm all happy Klaus is technically alive but in Tyler's body? But I want to see JoMo again next season! THIS BLOWS! It would have been more interesting if Tyler was stuck in Klaus's body, at least we get to keep Joseph Morgan AND we get to see him with Caroline (even if it's really Tyler, I just really want to see some Klaroline!!!).
Elena choosing. While the whole equidistant-to-the-salvatores scenario was hard to buy, I'm happy she finally chose Stefan. But what is the deal with that moment she and Damon had before about love that consumes her? She wanted that, yes, but at the time she made the choice for Stefan, she already knew that Damon makes her feel that kind of love, right? So her choice to go with Stefan was still valid, right? So why the need to show that scene? Ugh, I personally would like this triangle to end. Fans are getting tired of all this. I am a Stelena fan but for Christ's sake, it would be better if Elena chose Damon instead of this never-ending-swing between t

This season was labeled the season of Originals, yet what exactly have we learned about them this whole season? That there is a bloodline? That they have a horrible mother? That there is a stake that can kill them? That they are not really a family at all?
Oh. Right. This season was about the Originals. Honestly, I had absolutely forgotten that! So, dear writers, you did a wonderful job in ignoring your own topic. OMG. That's REALLY bad.
Now, the only thing I trully want an answer to is Joseph Morgan ever coming back to the screen or now that Klaus's real body is burned...that is not possible?
Same with me. I'm not interested in anything else, actually, concerning the next season. Bonnie going badass? Yeah, just like Stefan did. Love triangle all over again and the new "villain" is now the council (again)?
I hope that Klaus' body wasn't burned completely and that Bonnie can bring him back to life. After all, Alaric shut the coffin. No oxygen, no flames, right?
Good episode, but I don't know why the BEST part of it was when Elijah hugged Rebecca. That whole Delena and Stelena triangle is not that interesting anymore. The writers will keep both groups of fans happy anyway.
But I love the fact that the dynamic of the show will change from now on. Elena is a vampire, Klaus is trapped in Tyler's body, Bonnie is a baddass.
I reckon bring Katherine back so Stefan will be with Elana-the-vampire and Damon with Katherin-the-vampire and Caroline with Klaus-Tyler 2-in-1 haha
Well, I'll take your word for it since I haven't seen s1, but yeah...ugh...some twist they left us with, lol!
S1 was like S2, but GOOD.
You had introduction of vampire lore, council being suspicious, etc. You had Elena search for her mother(who as it appears willingly turned vampire) and we had flashbacks to Katherine, Damon and Steffie, paralleling that, with finale even having a scene where Elena does some katherine-like mannerism.
The finale even had a car crash, for pete's sake and turning her THEM would have given us an emotional pay off, it would fit with Katherine's reappearance, explain why they even want to kill katherine in S2, not to mention shock value of elena turning. It just fit with that season, the whole season.
Now no one cares about miss cardboard enough to care about the whole turning storyline.

Actually it fit more with the end of S1 with both parallels to Katherine and Isobel and a lot of talking about how death affects them all, not to mention back then we saw Elena's self-discovery journey. S2 the whole "i dun wanna die" scenes and end was seriously tacked on upon a season that focused on entirely different things before "Sacrifice" trainwreck.

Once upon a time (in S2), the love triangle actually felt like a natural development. S3 completely screwed it up with all the cheesy brotherly bonding over Elena and "I don't want to lose either of you!" moments. I hope S4 does it better.

At this point, I didn´t care who she chooses - I´m just really angry that they had us thinking it was going to be finnal decision! I mean - this could not be further from finnal.
They sould have just go ahead and make episode 21 the season finale. It was better all around.
And the vamp thing - alrigt. We knew that at some point it had to happen. But the scene in the car was immpossible! This is really NOT what drowning looks like! Not to mention we have no idea what is up with Matt.
The most beautiful scene - Caroline and Tyler - was ruined with Klaus. I did´t want him to die, don´t get me wrong, but why Tyler?! Bonnie is truly dumbo. She sould really get hit by a bus. I can´t stand her. Let´s just hope they don´t go totally stupid and have her hook up with Damon.
And where is Katherine? I miss her.
That besides Klaus, Rebekah and Elijah, we really did not need more Originals?
Hell even Becky is pushing it since she is basically Katherine 2.0.
I said this before and I'll say it again, NOTHING in S2 or S3 contributed to this finale in anyway. It could have as easily happened in the end of S1 with Katherine instead of Becky. Thus in the end both S2 and S3 are pointless.
If Elena's turning was the conclusion for this season, WHERE WAS THE BUILD UP TO IT? It would have made a lil bit more sense back in s2 when Elena actually talked about all this stuff....now its like out of nowhere.

As for the triangle...ugh, Elena did not just drap the Salvatores along, she draged along all the audience to end with what we all knew all along..she is a moron. So now she is a vampire, the finale was supposed to make us feel like we can't wait for season 4..please tv Elena being a vampire is going to be lame, she will not handle it, she is not strong enough emotionally to handle it.

3. Elena is a vampire...OMG, can I just go and say WE KNEW IT WOULD END UP LIKE THAT ALL ALONG. I am sorry but they did a HORRIBLE job at making this look shocking..too mny things gave it away.
4. The triangle...I am pissed for both DE and SE. I am sorry but JP just slaped both fanbases in the face so hard! So Elena chooses Stefan with horrible reasoning, and then Elena tells Damon that maybe things would be different if she met him first? And then OF COARSE to please the DE fanbase they GO THERE - Damon met Elena first...I can't wait to hear the crazy theories some DE fans will come up with now that that has been revealed. So what, Stefan is labeled "safe" and Damon "is second in line". THAT IS NOT HOW YOU DEVELOP A TRIANGLE!
