I routed for Elena & Damon because he's actually a person who brings out the "BEST" in her, maybe Stefan will always be good for Elena but Damon would be BEST for her :-) I'm upset she chose Stefan. But I don't think for very long.

Totally amazing episode, but seriously disappointed she chose stefan !! She said if she met Damon first then maybe she would have picked him, so lets hope when she trasitions she will remember and then change her mind ! Damon and Elena are soo much better together ! Dont want to wait for season 4 !!

I respect your reasoning for wanting Elena to be with Stefan but to say that he never risked his life for her is ridiculous!! have you ever watch VD?? he does it like every week and not only that but risks his life for her family and friends and wants to do it, unlike damon who only does those things so he can earn points with her!! im pretty sure he constantly was saving her in season 1, in season 2 he was doing the same and the season 2 finale he gave himself up to Klaus to protect her and damon.

They will always tease us with the Salvatore triangle! And that will always be one of the elemnts this show has!
I would love to see Becca getting serious regular status! And a relationship with Damon please!
I'm interested how Jer and Bonnie will handle that they are guilty in a way that Elena is a Vamp now! And will Elena go Kat Vamp or Sweet Vamp style!

elena is a vampire now so it would make her remember that she met damon first... stefan should stand for the woman he loves.

There was so much going on in this episode, but it really had some great scenes. I was so glad that Elena chose Stefan.. but more excited that she actually made a choice. Then to have that flashback scene to show that she actually met Damon first?? he was so mean and in love with katherine then?? This just felt like they threw this in there randomly. I'ts going to be so annoying if because of this we have to deal with the whole triangle again.. I will really miss Rick as a character. Love caroline and Jeremy and I hope Tyler is still around somewhere?....looking forward to season 4.

O.o i haven't seen the finale yet... but if i uderstand right she picked Stefn... well that a shockerr , not.... my heart achully broke when i learned that, why don't she give damon a chance, tbh damon was never really a really runner for her true love i don't think, how am i gonna cope until next season its so longg away :(

Glad shes not stringing them both, and wohooooo STEFEN, thry make a great couple and i like the fact that there is some norm again. Love the ending, when is season 4 coming out?

I so want her to choose Damon I mean he was there for her everytime she needed him he has always put her first and he loves her! He would do anything for her I mean what more could she ask for?! Stefan is a great guy don't get me wrong but didn't he tell her he didn't want her anymore? yea I know it was to make her go home but still Damon has put his life on the line for her time and time again.... when has Stefan ever done that?
Why does elena always have to be with stefan?! Don't get me wrong I like stefan and the two together but it's becoming boring now. She should have chosen damon! I hope that being a vampire in season 4, she's going to change her mind. Enough with the safe choice! Delena FTW!

OMG!!! This totally mean Elena is a vampire now... Still cant believe it. And was Caroline kissing Klaus or Tyler? I mean since Klaus took over Tyler's body.
Now Elena is a Vampire i would really want to see Elena and Katherine work together...that would be fun.
It is a whole different situation for Elena and the Salvatore. Even though Damon met Elena first, he wasn't interested in her, instead he was still obsessed with Katherine at that time. I hope the writers doesn't bring that as a plot in the next season (season 4).

i really really hope they don't drop the ball on the tv series like they did in the book. Elena belongs with Damon. Rose's explanation to jeremy was spot on.

Elena turning will be interesting at the only humans will be Jer and Matt. The freaking triangle is beyond annoying now as it will keep coming up. Okay she met Damon first he consumed her ..... If she loved him and wanted to truely be with him the writers should have had her pick Damon. I m just hoping Tyler isn't dead for real and I m over Bonnie for this move seriously.
I'm convinced that Elena knew about the vampire blood being in her system. It was a nice touch to have the contrasting stories - flashback and present - next to each other. The same decisive look in her present face that was in her father's as he sacrificed his own safety for hers... it was evident right then (as if it wasn't earlier) that she had decided that was the road she would take. It's going to be super strange if they bring back Katherina - how the heck are you supposed to tell them apart, other than with a curling iron? Gosh.
And I don't think Tyler's dead. The vampire part of him will probably die, and affect him in some way, but he's not dead... he's too prominent in the Klaus storyline (as well as Caroline's!)
Very decent episode/finale. On par with the finale of Dexter's 4th season, I'd say.

Please make Elena and Damon a couple?! They are perfect for eachother, I like Stefan to. But he is so safe, and a little boring. Damon is more like act first, then think!

Why does elena always have to be with stefan?! Don't get me wrong I like stefan and the two together but it's becoming boring now. She should have chosen damon! I hope that being a vampire in season 4, she's going to change her mind. Enough with the safe choice! Delena FTW!
