i just want damon to be happy. i wouldnt mind if he falls for bonnie. matter of fact,my baby sisters and i were discussin this,but after watching him and elena together in s3...they've got great chemistry,those two. i love when she started realising she had feelings for him in s1 ep 19 @the dance.

personally,i think damon is a better choice for elena. as an individual,what would u rather have,someone who cuddles u,or someone who gives u room to make ur own mistakes and provides that feeling of security at the same time? their relationship has grown alot. she sees through his bullshit/tough shell and he challenges her to be better. they get really mad at each other,but always count on the fact that all will be forgiven. that's the foundation for any relationship:friendship. she doesnt have that with stefan. i like stefan alot,but damon is a better choice

delena or stelena fans,let's not be biased ok? stefan is and will always be a sweet heart. he left with klaus cos he loves his brother and elena. watch season 1 again and see why they just can't dump him. on the other hand,we have a vampire,damon,whose character develops as the series progresses cos he's in love with this one girl. if u study closely,he doesnt want to be in love with her,but just cant help it. he does what he thinks is best even when she hates him for it. yes,he's rash sometimes,but he makes an effort to change so he can be worthy of her love. then we have the girl in question:elena. she's had it really rough in less than 2 years and still manages to keep her cool,thanx to the salvatores. stefan represents safety. she knws what to expect from him. damon scares her cos she cant predict what he'll do. what scares her even more is that her feelings for him consume her,which could either be good or bad. give her a break. she's not a bitch.annoying,yes,but a bitch? no. in m

i think that now that klaus is in tylers body hes going to go after caroline and when elena turns the compulsion will wear off and she will see all the things that damon has said and that they met first and she'll gain the feeling she had when she first met him again :) damon and elena are so great together

To all you SE fans who are saying it doesnt matter they met first, shell still choose Stefan. Its not the fact that they MET first, its the fact of what he first SAID to her. Stefan had to watch (i kind of think its a little stalkerish) elena for months to figure out she want katherine and damon knew after one second. what drew stefan to elena was the fact that she looked like katherine, and then they fell in love. damon didnt give a crap about elena at first, he wasnt going to try to get to know elena cause she looked like katherine. he ended up falling in love in elena because she was HER. Im not saying that Stefan loved Elena cause she looked like Katherine, Im saying thats what started their relationship. True love doesnt start because you look like your ex girl friend, true love just happens. DEstiny

it's stefan,stefan n stefan...it's always gonna b stefan...that's what it's meant to be.Damon might have met elena first, but it's stefan who has tried hard to stay away from her n let her make her own decisions , he has better understanding with elena. Damon never tried to stay away n he's not the underdog, it's stefan who deserves elena. damon is better off with katherine or caroline.

just saying but when you see damon and elena onscreen there is such a chemistry between them ! you just think come on kiss each other no ? and yeah stefan is a good guy for her ,but they haven't got the real passion between them.

DAMON!! She should be with Damon. Damon met her first. Stefan should be with Bonnie/Katherine. He loved Katherine. He just likes Elena because she looks exactly like Katherine. Damon stayed with her eve thugh she hated him, and when she said mean things. Other people are saying Damon should mve on! HE shouldnt!

I think in the 4th season, we really need to see damon and elena together, i must admit at the end of season 3 it really caught my attention. Knowing damon and elena met first, I wanna see dalema=damon+elena!

The predictable thing would be for Elena to be with Stefan in the end, but I seriously don't want that. Don't get me wrong, I like both Salvatore brothers, but for different reasons. When all is said and done, however, I want Elena to be with Damon. He is the underdog in the love triangle and the one who would lose in all the other shows with a dilemma like this. Honestly, I just like Elena better with him. Plus, I want him to be picked, to break the cycle of it "always being Stefan."

I think, the writer should give Damon and Elena a chance. For the 3rd season, all I saw was Elena geting closer and closer to Damon and Damon's change from the bad vampire to the vulnerable, caring person. Of course, he has his bad times as well but then,,, when you see the reality, every time he goes off is when Elena rejects him and he takes it on some one else. Stephen is a "yes" person who abides by Elenas' rules. I think Damon really loves Elena and will do anything for her. Take for an instance, the car scene, Damm Matt, I would save the person I love first, no matter what. Damon would have done that. He will choose only Elena and no one else. That's real love.... hope the writer gives Damon a chance because I think he deserves the right to be loved by Elena........ and Stephen lost his chance when he saved Matt and not Elena, as usual being the "yes" man.
