Awkward Set Visit: Cast Interviews, Season 2 Scoop
Jim Halterman at .When we last left MTV's Awkward, our heroine Jenna Hamilton (Ashley Rickards) had found out that the writer of the care-frontation letter was none other than her mother (Nikki DeLoach).
But as we venture into Awkward Season 2 (Thursday at 10:30pm EST/PST on MTV), Jenna is still holding on to that information and deciding when to use it to her best advantage.
Besides the letter, however, there are many other story threads to pick up, including Jenna's love triangle with Jake (Brett Davern) and Matty (Beau Mirchoff), along with keeping nemesis Sadie (Molly Tarlov) at bay with the help of BFFs Tamara (Jillian Rose Reed) and Ming (Jessica Lu).
TV Fanatic's Jim Halterman spent some time on the Awkward set recently for some one-on-one chats with the cast to find out just where the second season is going to take its characters and the viewers of the hit MTV series.

Rickards tells us that while Jenna starts the season with Jake, the love triangle with Matty is not even close to being over:
Davern isn't sure when Jake will find out about Jenna and Matty's past together, but teases more about Season 2:
Tarlov tells us that Sadie's going to widen her net in terms at whom she'll direct her meanness this season. (I personally can't wait!)
It's all about Ricky Schwartz this season, reveals Reed about Tamara's boy-obsession. The good news: he's going to have better hair.
Lu may not get recognized a lot even on her own set but says Ming has a great storyline this season. (Two words: Asian Mafia!)
