Copper: Coming to BBC America

by at . Comments

On August 19, BBC America will debut its latest original drama.

Copper stars Tom Weston-Jones as Detective Kevin Corcoran, an Irish-American working the streets of New York City in 1864 and focused on the criminals who kidnapped his wife and murdered his daughter.

The series also stars Franka Potente as a madam named Eva Heissen; is co-created by Tom Fontana (Oz, Homicide: Life on the Streets and St. Elsewhere) and produced by Barry Levinson. Not a bad resume, huh?

Check out the official trailer and make August 19 at 8 p.m. down on your calender now. This looks great.
