Downton Abbey Season 3: First Look!
Ding! Ding! It's about to be on between Maggie Smith's beloved Dowager Countess on Downton Abbey and Shirley MacLaine's Martha, who will come on board Season 3 of this BBC favorite as Lady Cora's mother.
Over the weekend, at the American Film Institute’s 40th Life Achievement Award ceremony honoring MacLaine, TV Land treated attendees to a sneak peek at the first confrontation between these characters.
Will Martha be a match for Violet Crawley? It certainly appears that way:

How horribleabout the new cast member. Youv'e had such an excellent cast up to now. Most Americans can't stand Shirley MacLaine. Why choose her? Don't think I can watch anymore.

We were late to the game. Now all caught up. Congrats to all Emmy nominees, you deserve it! The best that television has to offer! Can't wait for season 3. Addicted!

I was told by a friend how good this show was to them. I watched, on dvd, the first two seasons and am addicted! I cannot wait for the third season to begin. I've also just heard about the Emmy nominations. Congratulations to all!
