I have learned alot from this show. How to be a better friend & co-worker. Here are people from all walks of life, coming together for a common purpose. They put aside their differences and make an awesome show and example to all of us. Thank you so much...and if you change your mind and decide to continue, we will all rejoice. But if not, thank you! Sincerely, S. Boggess

I love the Closer and will miss it but do not think I will be watching Major Crimes. No Brenda and Fritz no me.
I think they should have had her leave to have a family that might have made it easier to take.
Love to all the Closer cast...

The "Closer" is television at its very best. I had given up on ever finding a television program that both entertained and challenged its viewers to actually think! As a strong female character in a leadership role Kyra mastered the role of Brenda. The chemistry between her and the other charachters was palpable. The way that they warmed up to her and respected her, was one of the most interesting, and very real thread that permeated the series. I will miss the intelligence and humor infused into each character, and providng the catalys for all of the relationships and the storylines. This show will be a hard act to follow. the combination of cast and stories will be difficult to replicate in any scenario. My sincere gratitude to everyone involved in this rare and wonderful viweing experience. I will sincerely miss you all, and wish you the best in all of your future endeavors.

My mother (who lives 1000 miles away from me) and I faithfully watch your dynamic program and have fun discussing the episodes (I call her every day to stay in touch and keep me "grounded"). We will really miss the program but understand how Kyra feels about her artistry instincts! So sorry for her and husband, Kevin Bacon, for the horrible beating they and many others endured at the hands of Bernie Madoff.............sad, sad, sad! Blessings to all of the staff and writers!

James Duff went to my high school and when I was a senior, he was in college. He was very close to our HS Drama teacher, and the teacher asked him to write in some extra parts for our one-act play, "The Importance of Being Earnest". I was one of those parts, and even back then, James left his mark on people, not only the audience, but the actors as well. Good job, Mr. Duff. Love, Cecelia.

Just wanted to let you know that I have been a fan since day-1! I even convinced my daughter and her room mate to watch it! And they became hooked instantly. We will miss the show and hope that there will be specials in the upcoming future with the original cast! Maybe around the holidays? Here is to hoping!
Thanks-for the memories!

in these days when executive decisions are made by children--or people who are strictly 'money-men'--good shows are rare and few, mainly because of a paucity of exceptional writing and the 'new' actors who aren't really actors but 'images' and 'packages'. ms sedgwick and the entire team are the exception. the legendary stella adler used to say that the 'genius is in the choices'. i could, if pressed, account for bad choices by ms sedgwick on one finger, if that. and it's always all in the writing, which has always been exceptional on the show. a legacy? ms sedgwick leaves what few actors achieve: an indelible character that has grown and developed over time, and marks the trail with the most subtle of nuance and detail. an outstanding and definitive supporting cast, and the exceptional writing. i'll have cherished memories of the show--especially an episode that incorporated all the elements of classic french farce in modern l.a. hysterical! besides, i love girls with guns. a fond and

The Closer let me experience how it feels to truly have a favorite tv show & a favorite tv charactor in Ms. Johnson.
Season 7 left me with just enough, but still wanting more. Is it too much to hope that a tv movie special is in the works for the future?

I am all kinds of upset that Kyra took us to such heights just to leave us. Did she think it wouldn't be a success? There are so few good shows to watch any more outside the realm of "reality" that it upsets me that this one will no longer exist. I will watch Major Crimes once or twice, but I can tell you now that "Brenda Lee" made the show and that will never change.
I hope that she is happy in her new endeavors.

We will be sorry to see this great show end but are looking forward to some exciting final episodes. My husband and I love it and watch it together. I really think all the actors do a great job and the writing is excellent. Here's hoping there will be a sequel in the future and we will get to see them again.

The writers of The Closer are GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing, in recent TV history comes close to the quality of character development and story lines. All the actors were wonderful, but they had the written material to bring out the best in them. Hats off to the writers. Thank you all for hours of quality entertainment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh i will definitely be tuning in to Major Crimes just because i am a fan of the Closer though i don't think that Captain Rayder will be as enticing, she is a little heavy in a shot and will cut down the easy flow of the episode and the fast pace. i am glad the Kyra will be making an appearance. i wish they would give us a clue or two about the snitch, it is driving me crazy. i am wondering though, i have seen the posters for Major Crimes and the whole team is there except from Gabriel. is that a hint?
