What Happened - Did not the writers or producers read the books - depth of character total loss , the actors certainly could have handled better script and story - was it to hard to see in the books. Phillips as Henry completely unbelievably short of Henry in Johnson's books, and no Dog - I watched 3 episodes hoping for some improvement - a disgrace. Katy shacking with Longmire's deputy and him running off the road while over gawking at an election poster - good grief - ugh. READ THE BOOKS - maybe get some ideas.

I found this show to be a refreshing change of pace, but I have never seen "Justified". I love Walt's character a cop that has learned the basics and has street smarts, but isn't afraid to cry. The first show hooked me right off, but I also thought the 2nd episode veered. After seeing the show, reading up on the author of the books, and now reading a book, I hope they stay true to the characters and I think the show will make it.

Looking forward to more.

love the show great potential HOWEVER.. big mistakes in portraying the Mennonites in The Dark Road... NEVER and I mean NEVER would the Mennonites or Amish paint their house or roof red... I felt insulted on their behalf to see that house where a Mennonite family was to live... the writers need more accurate research please!

Saw the first show and continued with the next show tonight, I was very impressed? Great to have a show to replace Mad Men going off for awhile? Sorry I never read the books? I lived in Cheyenne and love the beauty of the Grand Tetons, but know you film in Santa Fe? Another beautiful area is Durango and outside of town along the river to possibly film or up into Silverton with the railroad? Be great if you could do a show now and then with the Grand Tetons as a background? Should be a love interest in the future, hope you have a good actress to do this part? Hope you are able to do more shows with the Indians and have a great choice per what you have with the Reservations in that area? Maybe film a show at Sky city built up on a bluff outside of Albuquerque? Add in some horse back riding in a few of the shows? Lou Diamond is super and glad to see he is part of this series? So far a super group of actors, good chemistry? Add to my list with The Glades no

Not a bad first show. The Longmire character is strong and they have allowed him to show a lot of small flourishes to flesh out the role. My one problem is that this is a little close in setting and basic personality type to the C. J. Box character Joe Picket, which I think is much stronger. We'll see

Not bad - I'll watch for a few more episodes to see how it develops. Character development is a bit weak, most of it is very predictable. Most lines by Longmire, could have been right from NCIS "Jethro Gibbs". At least it's something new on Sunday night.

Having read the Longmire books, we were eager to see the series. Absolutely loved it--casting was good and have already set Tevo to tape the others. Please keep them coming.
I love the Glades and so happy it is back but was not happy when Longmire bumped the time slot and took its place. I watched Longmire as the previews seemed good. I was a little underwhelmed but will watch a couple more times to see if it hooks me or not. I am a Bailey Chase and Lou Diamond Phillips fan so we will see.

First of all; I live in Wyoming. I was disppointed to know that this show was filmed in New Mexico. When a show is supposed to be in Wyoming; why don't they film it there? It takes away from the whole story when the sheriff is probably from a fictitous town. I liked the show; I think the next will bve better. But it does ruin knowing it is not filmed in Wyoming. People that watch it probably think that is in Wyoming; not.

The writing, acting and plot developments were all pretty facile. First episode, so going to let this one develop a bit, but I didn't believe most of the relationships. For someone who "thinks before he talks,m" his accusation of his friend didn't show much forethought.

I liked it and disagree with reviewer, thought the characters were interesting. Love most of the actors never saw Taylor in any thing but am fixated on that huge mole on his face. Rather a distraction. Look forward to next week.
