I forgot this show was on, so missed the first 15 minutes before I remembered to set DVR.
So I can't comment on the inappropriate sofa scene, however the annoying blue light across the screen was almost more than I could endure.
I kept wanting to check my settings, it was more than annoying.

No crystal skull, please. At least not for several more episodes. I know Michael Shanks can do more than they are allowing him to do so far. If they don't make better use of his talents, this show isn't going to get too far.
Are flashbacks going to be a regular thing? Will we get to see him in his pre-coma state?

Is this going to be the most depressing show EVER?

Amazing. The contrast between the characters, the tension and the drama. A perfect match with Alex and Joel. A new ship sailing the horisont. With my luck, they'll probably go down bad. But still. Amazing pilot. Will follow on the edge of my seat.

The plot is very similar to "Just like heaven" guy in a comma girl in a comma

I love this show. What an amazon Pilot it takes you though a range of emotions. Michael Shanks did an awesome job, and with him being kind of dead the show really brought out the other characters. Alex Reid is sure holding it together, I can't wait to see the next episode.

Saving Hope was wonderful! The amount of talent this show brings to the screen is great. I'm looking forward to Episode 2 already! My friends who watched it loved it as well. Show was so good that I've rewatched several times already! Thank you NBC for briniging a great new show to my television.

This show is wonderful, amazing, and emotion stirring all in one! All the cast came together and made the show flow throughout the story lines, keeping me on the edge of my seat. I personally cannot wait until the next episode! I haven't seen anything this good on television in quite a long time. Thank you NBC for getting this show on the air in the US.

@Lois--I saw that, too, and I agree that it was kind of distracting. I thought it was perhaps on the screener and pilot and I'm interested to see if that blue light will be returning next week. However, I think the lighting in general for this show is supposed to be kind of gauzy and spectral since we're dealing with ghosts and Charlie's spirit, so maybe it was intentional.

@Kol--I watched an interview clip with Gillies and Durance and both said that the show will have flashbacks in each episode, so yes, hopefully we'll get to see why she thinks he's a jerk.
@kap21--That final scene was just kind of crushing, wasn't it? She'd been holding it all together and then just couldn't anymore. And, like I mentioned in my response to Kol, flashbacks are going to happen.
@Mrs. Alex--Isn't that hint of the New Zealand accent just incredibly sexy? I love it.

What's with the terrible and irritation lighting. There are blue streaks all across my screen. Do they really have a bad lighting director, or was there something wrong with the film. If this is a recurring problem, we will not watch after one more try.

Boring. I didn't care about any of the patients besides Charlie. The only good parts were the cab scene and the Astral Projection.

I adore this show so far. If you were an Smallville fan then you know this is Lois & Hawkman staring as the couple here. He also played in Stargate SG-1. Pretty neat how now they play a couple on a new show :)
Its an ok summer show it's got potential that's for sure ill watch it again.

Wrong, Wrong, Wrong, Wrong, Wrong. Why the, should I call it, a soft porn sex scene. I was interested in the plot and interested in the show until that scene in the beginning of the show. The scene with the lady straddling the man on the couch was way over the top for regular television. As soon as that was shown I lost all interest and respect for the show and changed the channel. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Show a kiss, send them to the bedroom, or coming out of the bedroom, and we, as the audience get the point. Scenes like that have no business on prime time television. How many parents had to answer their kids questions about what was going on. But then again maybe it was the kid that had to answer the parents question. That scene was totally uncalled for and way over the top. I enjoy good shows, however with all the reality TV shows it's now hard to find. Like I said I was interested in the program and the first few minutes I was into it. But now seeing what will been shown in
The show has potential!
I like the hint of accent Daniel has, I know he was born in my hometown and then moved to New Zealand at a young age so he must have a bit of a New Zealand accent. I know he said that for TVD he decided to be the one member of his family without an accent.
I really love this show already. I don't like the main guy yet, but the last scene where he asked Alex not to give up on him tugged on my heart strings a little. I also don't see how Joel is a bad guy, when he was awesome during the entire episode. I would love a flashback to see why Alex believes he's bad. My only fear is that NBC will cancel this show, because that is like their favorite thing to do is cancel good shows. That's why no one watches NBC.

This show is good. I didn't like how Alex lash out at Joel for deciding to take a different approach in the patient with the tumor stating that nobody goes against Charlie plans. I also didn't see Joel as a womanizing no good person when he only been doing good things in this episode but we might get a flashback.
