Walking Dead Season 3 First Look: Greetings, Governor!
AMC has given fans another early look at The Walking Dead Season 3.
When this thriller returns with new episodes, we'll meet The Governor, a memorable villain from Robert Kirkman's graphic novels who is in charge of Woodbury, a small settlement of survivors. He'll be played by David Morrissey and you can feast your eyes on the character now:
Confirming that The Governor "in the show is definitely going to be The Governor in the comic," and that fans will "love to hate" him, Kirkman tells TV Guide:
"Having The Governor in the mix is going to fundamentally change the show in all kinds of awesome and exiting ways. And David Morrissey totally rocks!"
Last month, The Walking Dead also released a shot of Danai Gurira as Michonne, stoking the fires of anticipation for its fall return more than ever.

Is Woodbury the settlement where the guys in the bar that Rick killed were from? Or is it entirely separate from that gang?

I love David Morissey and although I didn't think he looked like the governor, I am convinced her will play him super well!
