Warehouse Season 4 Scoop: Brent Spiner to Recur

by at . Comments

Brent Spiner is beaming over to Warehouse 13 for at least six Season 4 episodes.

The actor, forever known to Star Trek: The Next Generation fans as Lt. Commander Data, will debut on the July 23 premiere as Brother Adrian, the leader of a top-secret sect known as the Brotherhood of the Knights of the Black Diamond.

What can we expect from the character? Following the explosion that concluded Warehouse 13 Season 3, producer Jack Kenny tells TV Guide:

"Artie Nielsen and the gang are on a mission to pull their lives back together and Brother Adrian is a major obstacle to that. The Brotherhood is descended from the Knights Templar and connected to the Vatican. It is charged with the protection of many powerful artifacts, one of which Artie desperately needs to make everything right again."

The Catholics keep getting in the way of things. Now they're making problems for the Warehouse agents, too! If it's not the Knights Templar (or their offshoots) it's Opus Dei. If only they'd just give our heroes what they wanted, everything would be fine. However, on another note, I'm actually not surprised that the Vatican would be a major protector of artifacts - it makes perfect sense, after all, since there is a well-known history of the collection of holy relics by the Catholic Church.
