I left a comment earlier on a different part that Ryan should come back, NOT I used the wrong person. Ryan definitely is not for Gibbs. My hope is actually for Lt. Colonel Mann to come back. They had something together that just works! Tuff as nails Colonel and Tuff as nails Special Agent Gibbs! Bring her back!

I am a 51 year old woman with grown children and it was not the fact that JLC was a woman that bothered me i am glad my children are grown, because she was over the edge with the physical part and it was the body language. She was not a good fit for the show over shined the regular cast and that was her personality so i do hope she stays gone

First,...yep, it's pretty obvious that the majority of the negatives about JLC come from the women NCIS fans...must be some sort of sexist psychology?!
Second, I agree with MzLady: I think that Curtis will be back to give some 'finality' to her character,...the way she raced off to address the ex- left things up in the air too much.
In that vain,...I also agree with Mitch,...she could be such an asset to the show. If only she hadn't been thrown into such an 'unlikeable' character, one that's now been too damaged to be able to recover any attraction to the audience.
One more thought,...how about having Ms. Ryan show her true colors as a 'bad guy' and have Gibbs (not Abby) become the final judge, jury, and (you guessed it...) EXECUTIONER----now that would be some kind of storyline!

I happen to think that the show will actually do better without her, she was over physical in the show and yes she is an actress but body language was all her, and i was appauled at it at times. I am glad she is gone i think NCIS season 10 will be the best yet. And the shows ratings showed people did not like her an actress because the ratings were lower when she was on. It was not because of the writers, she was just not a good fit for the show.

I happen to love JLC; she is one sexy older woman. The problem was the writing for her. They made her such a ball-breaker, she was unlikable. It's the show's loss. She could have been quite an asset.

All this needless worrying over Dr. Ryan!! TVF borrowed this blurb from TV Guide by the way - they released it first, so this is old news. I think Gary Glasberg already made it clear that we won't be seeing much of Ryan. She was DISMISSED by the NCIS fanbase, period. The fans did not LIKE her. She is another EJ-type casualty, and if she DOES return to the show, it would likely only be for one or two episodes to wrap up the Harper Dearing arc, or to deal with her ex-husband who apparently is now out of prison & could go after Parker, in order to "break" her. That's about it.

I happen to agree the Ryan character was not a good match at all for gibbs and gibbs is not over his first wife death. I for one and glad she is not coming back she made the show sickening to watch it was awful

Most love interest for Gibbs where suppose to crash and burn because he was never over the loss of his family. But this one love interest was not supposed to just crash and burn. She was supposed to be there for the long haul. I hope that the writers and creators of the show took a good long look back at how bad she acted out her character (love interest only) and see why this was a horrible idea. Not for having a long term love interest for Gibbs but for casting Jamie Lee Curtis as the lover. Please don’t get me wrong I like her as an actor, I really do, I just do not believe she was the right person to pull off the love interest and I do however; think she would rock as a bad guy. If the writer would be willing to rewriter her part and make her a bad guy that would be amazing. (Have Abby shot her in the end). ROFL!

Ryan was apsolutly no different than the other woman (lawyer,Doctor, Redhead) Gibbs has sacked on the show. They all wanted to take over for him; they all wanted him to save them from harm and in the end change who he is as a person. blah, blah, blah… Just face it Ryan took over the show, her character did not helped it. She did Gibbs’ job for him, she spoke for him, walked for him, she thought for him, and at some point I thought she was going to start chewing his food for him. The Ryan character was a huge joke that was not funny.
Ryan was not all that bad; in fact she could have been a great, if her character had only been introduced as a bad (PsyOps) guy and not what the writers ultimately tried to make her become, Gibbs’ Lover; sickening.
Unless the writers of the show rewrite her character and make her the bad guy she was suppose to be, I do not want to see her again.

I didn't like the Dr Ryan character either she didn't suit Gibbs at all. And he was always wondering if she was keeping something from him or not telling the truth. Im not sure whether I disliked the character or JLC playing it that way. I'd rather not see her back tbh and definitely not as a regular it would spoil it for me.

I do not want jlc back at all, she added nothing to the team, but was arrogrant, and smug and thought she knew everything. No i don't want to see her at all in season 10

@Michael- Gibbs had known Ziva for 4 years when all the Ari stuff showed up again at the end of season 6. There is a big difference in knowing someone for 4 years and knowing someone for 4 weeks. Gibbs actually trusts Ziva and doesn't have to look for a deeper meaning in everything that she says. Gibbs was always wondering if Ryan was telling him the truth. I do have a quesiton for you. What evidence do you have to support your claim of Ziva taking Tony's place on the team?

Find someone beside Dr.Ryan for Gibbs. Really, you could do a whole lot better than that for Gibbs sake! It's like you all are trying to destory to show. Get back to dealing with the members of the TV show. It was more interesting. Besides why would Gibbs need Dr.Ryans premission to do anything.

I didn't really have anything against her, but I don't want to see her back. Gibbs couldn't have a real relationship with her because he couldn't trust her. She withheld information from the team. It was nice to see Gibbs with someone in his age range. Ryan grabbed my interest when she was waiting for Ziva's friend Monique to come to D.C. The rest of the time she just acted like she was better than eveyone else. I like JLC, but I don't want to see her back as Ryan.

The character of Dr Samantha Ryan was just awful...if she comes back on a regular basis, it will make the show unwatchable for me. I'm not against a character that is the same age...but her know it all, smug attitude, just really put me off. I agree that she added nothing to the show and took away screen time from regulars that we don't get to see enough of. Please no more Dr Samantha Ryan!

YES bring her back its so nice to see character dating people their own age and JLC was just what NCIS needed to get its mojo back beside the P2P storyline she fits in with the cast way better then the lawyer and you can tell how much they enjoy having her on the show.
Plus I want to know who they will have play her huband my vote is for Mandy Pankisn

Please, please, please, please .... do NOT have her return. She is exactly the kind of woman that most of the rest of we women cannot stand. She ads nothing. In fact, she detracts a LOT! NO, do not ring her back. I just Ducky to be fine and all the rest of the regulars to return. There are millions of women out there that would latch onto Gibbs if we feel he has to have a romantic link. But not this "man-looking, smug, self-absorbed" JLC. NO!!!!!!!!!!!
