Breaking Bad Season Premiere Sets Ratings Record

Breaking Bad cooked up record ratings for AMC last night, as the Season 5 premiere drew a total of 2.9 million viewers, a 14% increased over last summer's opener.
It was the most-watched episode in series history.
Elsewhere across the dial:
- The VERY well-reviewed Political Animals earned 2.6 million viewers, an average debut for the USA Network drama, on par with the first installment of Common Law.
- A&E is celebrating today along with AMC, as The Glades (3.4 million) and Longmire (4.5 million) also set individual show marks with their audiences.
