I love Grey's Anatomy but the reason why I'm excited for a new episode every week is because of Slexie. Well, goodbye to that.

I feel sorry for the fans who watch cos Mark & Lexie were their favourite couple. But at least there was resolution that they said 'I love you' to each other. Guess we won't see Mark's girl friend anymore either.
I feel for Der whos is gonna loose a life long friend. It's sad Sophia's gonna loose her dad, and Callie her best friend.
But when I read about Eric leaving, my heart didn't sink, meaning I'll cope without seeing Mark in GA. I'll miss Slexie

I can't believe this... He is my favorite and Greys will not be the same. I love this show but I dont know if I can handle season 9 w/out him ;-(

With Eric Dane leaving Grey's as well, I really wished Shonda would have opted to give McSteamy and Lexie their much anticipated Happily Ever After rather than kill off Lexie.
This is the first time in years that I am not eagerly awaiting the season premiere in September.

I am sad to read this cause it now makes a lot of good actors and nice characters that leave the show : Teddy, Lexie and now Mark…
This is gonna change so many dynamics in the show : no more Cristina/Teddy work relationship, a whole different family dynamic for Arizona-Callie-Sophia. I know they say Mark might not be killed off, but how are they going to justify that he’s not there with his daughter anymore (unless he goes to another hospital, but still… it will be weird to see family moments without him, no ? )
And Lexie’s death is gonna affect all characters I think, particularly Meredith and Mark for the while he’s there.
After all of this, Arizona better stays alive cause I can’t take more changes ! This is the end of Grey as we know it.

lost interest....lexi was my fav one left.... once the new people came in like april i started losing interest...... this really makes it unwatchable for me.. im done......

Look, Mark's departure (death in show) means that Arizona stays and survives! And I'm very happy about that! Yeey!!! It's time for Callie and her to be together ALONE!:)

Its not the shows fault that certain characters leave the show. Eric Dane has other stuff to do and Chyler has a 1 year old and believe she is pregnant again I love watching this show and will continue. I was bummed when Addison left but the show continued to grow and stayed great with amazing writers with great story lines... I'm looking forward to this season to see what happens.

I am truly done with the show now that Lexie is dead and Mark is probably joining her. There are so many other characters I would have loved to be rid of...why get rid of the two best ones on the show???

I hope this is not the last season for grey's but with Mark Sloan (Eric Dane and Lexie Grey (Chyler Leigh) leaving I'm not that hopeful. They were both part of the reason I watched the show. They helped make the show what it is and I'm sad to see them leave. I however am not that bummed to see Teddy Altman (Kim Reaver) is leaving. I really was not of her. I would rather see April Kepner (Sarah Drew) leave. I can not stand her character. She needs to do some serious growing up and mellowing out. She is too whiny and she thinks to much. She gets worked up so easily and worries about everything. With her it is always GOd this Jesus that. I am not a christian. I wish since they have a christian on the show that they should bring others from other religions on the show, like Buddhist or wiccan.

It's the only logical move for McSteamy to leave now that Lexie is gone. For him to go on without Lexie, would be like Meredith going on without Derek, it just wouldn't feel right. I agree that Mark wouldn't leave Sophia, so he will probably succumb to his injuries at some point post rescue. My guess is that they will have you thinking he is 'fine' and then there will be a big to do when he starts tanking the last 15 mins of the show to make you feel like you didn't see it coming, like they did with George. This is probably the last season of Grey's anyway, so IMO, it's sad that Lexie and Derek are gone, but it's not like the show will have much longevity without them.

I hope his ending will not be the dead. It's not fair. Maybe he'll fly to L.A and joins Addison. Since Addison will leave the show... The walshies would love it.

Although I'm devastated about Mark leaving, I must say I'm rather intrigued how all the other characters are going to react to it, especially Callie and Derek.

I actually teared up when i saw that headling... at least he'll be with lexie but.. I can't believe they'll say that they have been 'replaced' by those 2 other people.. i hope they can fill in the shoes..

Catherine Avery is a urologist and looks down on plastic surgery. She was disappointed in Jackson that he was going into plastic surgery. Therefore she would never be in charge of plastic surgery at seattle grace.
I love Mark sooooo much, but I hope he dies. I hope they bring him back to Seattle in serious condition, he'll have a few more days or so to live because there's nothing they can do for him. I want him to say goodbye to Callie and Arizona and Jackson. I don't want him to just leave Seattle without Sofia. It'd be better if he died. Like he said, Lexie's waiting for him

Catherine Avery wasn't a plastic surgeon. She felt it was a lazy practice. I think she was a urologist, the patient that kept wetting her pants and the penis transplant. I like her too and if she became a regular (even of sorts) then it would be fun to watch her torment Jackson. Otherwise Jackson could leave with Mark and take April with them.

I love Mark sooooo much, but I hope he dies. I hope they bring him back to Seattle in serious condition, he'll have a few more days or so to live because there's nothing they can do for him. I want him to say goodbye to Callie and Arizona and Jackson. I don't want him to just leave Seattle without Sofia. It'd be better if he died. Like he said, Lexie's waiting for him
