A former Nine Lives of Chloe King star has found new life on The Vampire Diaries.

Grace Phipps has been cast in the recurring role of April, a regular human being who moves to Mystic Falls and debuts on the second episode on Season 4.

Network notes describe the character as a "natural beauty with a bit of an edge" and say she moves back to town after the death of a loved one. Look for April to have known Jeremy and Elena as a child.
