Seems no one noticed, or cared, about what Eliot did and with who (whom?). He said he saw some old "friends". Well the "friend who helped blow up what looked like a missile silo was Adam Baldwin. Adam and Christian were both on Angel.

@Jim by now you know it's Portland and not Seattle. Mistakes happen.:)
I LOVE Leverage. I was super excited to have a new episode and have my favorite team back. It was such an explosive and great season finale that I didn't know how the premiere would be. I hate to say that the con of the week bored me to tears. I wasn't engaged in that aspect of the episode at all. But the character and team stuff was so good as usual. A brewery and Eliot moonlighting as a chef /bartender. Parker and Hardison officially dating. Nate honoring his father and committed to Sophie. Parker running like a champ and pulling a spiderwoman. The location...awesome. I suspect they fear cancellation based on some of their tweets so hope the ratings stay strong
I absolutely loved the season premiere. The writers of Leverage always keep us wanting more and the cast is wonderful. So happy to have Leverage back. I hope it runs for many more years

Yes they are in Portland not Seattle and they have filmed there since Season 2 so 4 seasons not 2.
Also, it is his security officer NOT his lawyer that tells him NOT to say anything...
And we KNOW the guest list will be FANTASTIC! They had THREE big ones in this premiere episode alone! They also have been leaking the guests as they filmed so there are a TON of great things to look forward to!

I enjoyed your review of my favorite show & thought the premiere was excellent myself. I only wish someone would have proofread and gotten the location correct. Diehard Leverage fans have known for years that Portland is where Leverage films.

Welcome to Seattle...I think NOT! #Leverage has been filmed in Portland Oregon for season 2,3,4&5. AND the new #LeverageTeam HQ's/setting IS Portland Oregon. The team moved from Boston to Portland, not Seattle.

Seriously, Seattle?
And the exteriors are of the REAL Bridgeport Brew Pub in Portland. The set interior and the actual pub have some similarities. It's nice they won't have to block out Mt.Hood or any of PDX's iconic buildings. Meanwhile, the story was fun and the new tagline is of course, "hand over the Teddy Bear."

Jim G. It wasn't Seattle they moved the new HQ to, it was Portland(comment 4 on this). Hang your head in shame.

I have so missed hearing Elliot say "Damn it Hardison!" Sophie complaining about the rain was funny and I loved how they threw it back at her that it rains in London. I always love to that when the show is away for awhile they tease us about what the gang did in their spare time. Hardison screaming as he and Parker jumped off buildings was hilarious. The end will had a super neat twist. What is this secret? Are Victor and Jack alive? The team really having to start over is priceless.

I loved the episode so happy Parker and hardison are finally dating. I wonder what the secret is and wonder why it has to be a secret from everyone except hardison.

They are filming in Portland NOT Seattle. They have been filming in Portland for the past several seasons, 2-4 I believe. They decided to relocate the setting to Portland to be able to use some of the landmarks. The Spruce Goose is in a museum in McMinnville, OR so that is just one of the many things people can expect from around the Pacific Northwest.
Nate: Elliot, I'd say, call if you need anything, but you never, never need anything. Elliot: Yea I did. Thanks to you, I don't have to search anymore.
