I actually really enjoyed this episode and think Pretty Little Liars is at its best at times like this. Last week, I agree that the episode was so slow it was almost nap inducing, but this week felt there was a regular steady pace.
I think Ezra is lying about getting the job. Everything just seemed to fall into place too easily and Lucy Hale spoke about how Ezra would tell a lie this season.
Something weird is definitely going on with Maya's cousin although I have no idea what. As for Lucas, I think his whole story line is just a red herring.

I love Jenna and I would have been glad to go to that party. If I was Jenna I will be mad that somebody was sticking their fingers all in my desserts. I still undecided about Nate. I thoought the girls already knew that Garrett did not do it bit I guess not. I love Spencer and Toby scene.

I was thinking the same thing about how many good lines there were, especially in the first half. I disagree with your assessment that this episode wasn't full of action though. It felt pretty intense to me, even if I didn't know what to make of all the discoveries or what the implications mean. The four liars were all making their own discoveries, and we'll only find out what those discoveries mean when we put the pieces together. One thing I'm sure of: this puzzle is getting very messy!
