The Walking Dead Season 3 trailer is here, and it's nothing short of intense.

With new characters - Michonne (Danai Gurira) and The Governor (David Morrisey) - and new locations like Woodbury and the prison front and center, the AMC sensation is coming back with a vengeance.

Speaking of payback, Rick says it all when he proclaims in true Ricktator fashion, "this prison is ours" in a wild preview that sets up a must-see showdown between the survivors and a prison full of zombies.

AMC announced earlier today at Comic-Con in San Diego that The Walking Dead Season 3 will premiere on Sunday, October 14 at 9 p.m. Three words, people: Fear the living.
