This is not hard choice for me. Whoever is against Jensen, I'll always support him. He is the best actor. You can cry with him(Dean), laugh with him, be angry with him, everything. And I admire Jensen about how he treats his fans. I really hope because he deserves this more than anyone else!

@Kim...have you ever met Jensen? Do you know for a fact that he's an asshole? Or do you call him an asshole because he's beating Ian? Here's the facts...I HAVE met Jensen and he is far from being an asshole. Like his co-star Jared Padalecki, he is a very kind person and a very talented actor. @Alison No, using derogatory terms like "faggots" is incomparable to stating how much I love Ian Somerhalder's environmental activism. It's not hate (it's mostly irrelevant except within the context of Dan's comment) but it is not at all the same. I don't know your opinion on homophobia but I try always to discourage people from saying things like "faggots" and "that's so gay!"

But Jensen fans don't you think it's weird that you're responding negatively to me talking to this one guy and only building Ian up, not saying one negative thing about Jensen, Supernatural or his fans but not this guy who said such offensive generalizations? He called all the entire Ian Somerhalder fan group "faggots and silly little girls" which is demeaning and rather disgusting. The "faggot" comment is the only reason I responded in the first place. I don't care who people prefer, but the fact that some people would rather point me out for calling this guy out on his insulting and rude behavior (with no hate for anyone except maybe this Dan guy, just pure my love of Ian) is kind of sad.

Guys, the only reason I brought up Ian's accomplishments/activism is because this guy (Dan) was insulting Ian and saying he couldn't compare to Jensen because Jensen donated to St. Judes which is both ridiculous and irrelevant. Also, it showed how uninformed he is of the other party. I have nothing but respect and love for Jensen and pretty much all of his fans and don't think anyone should vote for Ian based on his non-acting related accomplishments. However, calling him "just another pretty face" was what I was replying to.
Sorry for any offense I might have given.

@Alex I was not trying to talk to all Jensen/Ian fans just this one guy (Dan) who made such an offensive and ridiculous comment that I couldn't help but speak back. Besides my love for Ian, I hate homophobia, sexism and bashing of real people (like the fans of Ian.) Not to mention his generalizations and all around awfulness. I haven't seen any comments from Ian fans of that nature (meaning the "faggots" and "silly little girls") so I didn't respond to any others.

I admire Ian's deeply caring side and all the great work that he's done for the planet, he's a great guy. He can act... good enough. And I am actually what you might call a viewer of the Vampire Diaries.
Although, when it comes to Jensen, Ian could be the most active guy for the planet but I'll still choose Ackles. So Andy, I'm truly sorry for some fans and their rude comments, but aren't you doing the same? Listing all the things Ian has done to make him greater? And also, this is not who's the most "greendayguy" poll and who's met the president or whatever else! It's a CW top star poll!

@Dan I am neither a silly girl nor a faggot (that term is offensive by the way) but I love the Vampire Diaries. I am a college graduated, straight, professional woman who just happens to enjoy this type of program in my spare time between working and reading. "Silly girls" is a demeaning term anyway. What's wrong with you? Attacking fans based on who they prefer as an actor?
Saying Ian is just a pretty face and to prove Jensen is better by listing his accomplishments is stupid. "Jared donated money to St. Judes," oh I'm sorry does the fact that Ian has his own foundation, advocates for many causes, has met with President Obama to discuss environmental issues, donated to many causes, immediately visited the Gulf after the oil spill, and spoken before Congress not compare to this one donation? How dare anyone assume otherwise! This level of stupidity and generalizations is not just rude but also gives a bad name to Jensen fans who are not such condescending, immature jackasses.
