lacysos i agree with you, paul is such a good actor and his expressions are amazing and so varied compared with ian who has so few and just strips off and does his eye thing

@Gossipboy, oh honey, how about this. What if and I mean if, Ian left his clothes on. Would you honestly say Ian is an actor? You know I know and everyone know's the answer is a big NO. Dude looks good naked but can't act if his life depended on it. Oh yeah right, his emotional scenes have him doing that eye thing. Damon's hurt, eye thing. Damon's scared, eye thing. Damon's happy, oh no the eye thing. I like the dude, bu lets face it. We don't watch because of his acting.

I beg to differ with Gossipboy. Paul Wesley can act his a$$ off. He can say more with his face (no words) than most can say with 20 words.

WOW!!! @ the last comment. Do you even watch TVD? Have you seen any of Paul's emotional scenes? Ofcourse the boy can act. The glaringly biased mistake that a lot of people make is they think Ian is a LOADS better actor than he actually is because he gets all the best lines and acts like a drunk, lovable, douche bag all the time. He's always the "misunderstood" one. Paul's acting skills are phenomenal for the role he's been given.

Paul fans have it easy with this poll because Gossip Girl is a drama while VD is a supernatural show. If it was paul vs. someone else in a supernatural show, he would not win. Simple as that. Sorry.

Aham, Blake can't act, that's why Oliver Stone picked her, that's why critics acclaimed her performance in "The Town" and why there's so much praise regarding her in "Pippa Lee". it unfair who the people are matched against.
it should have been Jensen vs Ian and Jared vs Stefan. Basically lead males vs lead males and females vs females of simlar role.
The thing is, this is a show about TVfanatics. TV, not MOVIE. So Paul really DOES act better (haven't seen any blake movies except The Town). Please direct me to ONE scene that isn't like 3 years old where Blake does phenomenal acting.
TVD may be one of the most fails on TV but nothing can ever top the shit that is GOSSIP GIRL.
And at least Paul can admit his storylines/Show's shit...

Yes Blake is beautiful but let's be honest, she can't really act. I voted for Paul because he is an excellent actor and no I am not a teenage girl. I'm in my mid 20's.

And yes, Blake's acting is by far better, all it takes to confirm that is watch "Pippa Lee" or "The Town" then watch "The Vampire Diaries". People voting for him are clearly just foolish-headed horny tweenagers who listen to Justin Bieber and have pink Beats headphones.

I voted for Paul because he is truely a fantastic actor who gives his all to the role of stefan. Unlike the delena bullys I vote honestly. Yep I voted for ian and yep I voted for paul. Because they are great at there job.
