Walking Dead Season 3 Poster, Scoop: Revealed!

by at . Comments

AMC has premiered the first Walking Dead Season 3 poster, a promotional photo that will be plastered all over San Diego at Comic-Con next week and available there for attendees to purchase.

Showrunner Glen Mazzara recently assured fans of the graphic novel that The Governor would remain the villain they knew and loved to hate from those comic books - and now he has provided even more scoop on Season 3 to Entertainment Weekly.

"The entire landscape has fallen to zombies,” previews Mazzara. “The entire world has collapsed, the apocalypse has taken over, the zombies have taken over, there’s no safe place. And I think in the past our characters thought they could find some safe harbor, and now there’s just no good hiding place at all.”

That sounds terrible for the survivors. And downright awesome for viewers to watch when The Walking Dead returns this fall.

I want them to befriend a prisoner who is badass.

As much as I love the zombies and action behind it, I much prefer the fact of their survival throughout the apocolypse. I just hope people actually realize that that is the point.
