Exactly, Does Simon know Annie is a spy??? I don't believe he does or he would not have went after her......perhaps I missed something......
Annie possibly going rogue???? There's already been incidents where she has.......
Auggie was heartbreaking.......I think a lot of fans are wanting Auggie and Annie together.........
What happens now that none of Annie's immediate family is in the scene?

My heart broke for Auggie but it was inevitable (right???) bec Annie and Auggie are meant to be!!
I cant read Simon and that is very annoying and frustrating. Does he for sure know that Annie is a spy? if so why come back, why risk everything for a girl you have known only 72 hours or so? I just dont understand the logic?

neojhun: With all due respect, I don't think I was "harping" on it at all.
Annie was sent back to work at the DPD, but since Simon came back for her by the end of the hour, and she accepted his profession of "like," the situation is still very fluid. She might just go rogue at this point. Lena might HAVE to bring her back into the fold if she's spending just as much time with Simon as she was before.
nd admitted he "liked" Annie deeper than ever. Their personal relationship has grown immensely and was always supposed to be more important. The reason why Annie is now more integral to the CIA operation happened because her cover was blown.Simon was willing to sacrifice and give in to the fact she was probably a threat to him professionally . Annie and Simon's personal relationship is now key to the whole operation.
Also yes the whole episode was full of bitterness and sadness without much relief. But it clearly proves my previous TV Fanatic comment one how C.A. "really grown and a matured". C.A. is not the glitzy, polished, vapid drama like most US television it once was. This episode hurt (not a bad thing) but damn was its context deep making it hurt soo damn good. I guess Dan just wasn't mature enough to pick up on all the stimulus of how awesome this episode was.

Yikes Dan missed the point and maybe needs to "grow up" to get a better grasp. The review kept harping on how "sent back to work at the DPD" was the end of the world for the new high flying Annie. The scene where Simon roll up in his car on Annie's walk to give in to "personal desires" was clever a foreshadowing, one natural to the essence of Covert Affairs (C.A.). Let Me Explain how
From the pilot a quote from Auggie "In fact the CIA highly encourages dating with in the agency". A quote that stuck with me because it shows how in C.A. spy life interferes and eventually seeps into personal lives. Because of the essence of C.A. dictates that Annie's spy relationships will be pulled into her personal life. The "blow the new stories up to get things back to normal so that fans don't get mad issue" does not even exist. Just because the self admitted bitch Lena had to throw Annie back DPD was solely a pragmatic Official Severance. But since Simon gave in an
