Scandal Season 2 gets underway on Thursday, September 27, following the opening episode of Grey's Anatomy Season 9.

What can fans expect from the Shonda Rhimes-produced series? Merely sex tape drama, a bit of extortion and a great many lies, at least according to the first official trailer for upcoming installments.

We also know that Season 2 will be comprised of 13 episodes; Mellie’s fake pregnancy will be a key issue; and we'll discover the identity of Quinn Perkins on the premiere.
