I'll play Devil's Advocate in regards to Aylin and say that when you have a role that you could write--that of a Muslim female estranged from her religion who has very devout parents--you'd probably have to find someone willing to portray that publicly and accept the backlash from doing so, because there will be backlash. Since Aylin is already there, I understand why they kept her.
I don't at all understand the decision to keep Ali. Not even a little bit.

i think it's ridiculous that ali is in the final instead of micheal. i hate to say it but i feel like the only reason they are keeping her around is because she is in a wheelchair. Micheal can act far better than ali. Ali is not a great singer actually the sound of her voice makes me cringe sounds kind of like a nasal dying cat. even lily deserved to be in the final more than her. And i too think it is beyond dumb that they choose ailyn for her race. i really think nellie deserves to still be on the show becuase if a person can sing and act they could be on glee. The glee writers kid of bug me that they need to know who the person is and fit them on the show instead of writing a role and having someone fill it. bummer Micheal is going home he deserves to be over there over ali in a heartbeat.

No definitely Blake. It frustrates me that they criticize Nellie when they are using Aylin for her story instead of acting. So what if Nellie is shy?! She could sing and act unbelievably. Just because Aylin is Muslim doesn't mean she should win. They could write that storyline for any other actor. Im not crazy for Aylin as a person but she is good. Blake is better though he should win!!!!

Sometimes, when there's "no one like that" on TV, it's for a good reason. It's because no one wants to watch them.
Aylin's acting range is limited to seduce or slobber. Two notes. Of course, that puts her way ahead of Ali, whose entire range could be exhausted in a 15-second Sonic commercial.
Blake must've been very, very happy after Michael and Lily were eliminated.

Aylin for the win. There is no one on tv like her and the writers can do a lot in regards to various storylines. I kinda wish they could all win and become the new version of new directions.
