The Mindy Project Drafts NBA Talent for Guest-Starring Gigs

The Mindy Project hasn't even aired yet, but this upcoming Fox sitcom has already enjoyed a very successful NBA draft.
The Mindy Kaling-anchored series - which debuts September 25 at 9:30 p.m., following the premiere of New Girl Season 2 - has cast a trio of professional basketball players in its fourth episode of the fall.
As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Amar’e Stoudemire, Baron Davis, Danny Granger will bring their A(acting) games to the small screen when Kaling's character stops by a nightclub with a few friends and ends up in the VIP section.
But don't expect any long-term romantic prospects between Kaling's doctor and any of these All-Stars.
The sitcom also recently cast Tommy Dewey as an official love interest for the OB/GYN.
