I thought that Rick and Kate finally getting together had just the perfect touch to it, it wasen't over the top it was just perfect with humor in it and the right spice to it, Martha and Alexes where so great, it was very good seeing them in a totally diffrent situation. The murder plot was also written very well, keept you thinking threw the whole thing, You can see Espo is having that love hate relationship with Ryan where you can see do I for give him or am I still ticked off at him..It will be intersting to see how this whole murder plot thing works out now that Kate has the upper hand...Again fantastic writing LOVED it!...ahhhh.... come on Monday!

Enjoyed it immensely.
So glad they're good together, as in not feeling all guilty and defensive.
although I fear my face would have been like Beckett's if he'd told me to hide in the closet.
But it is forgiven because I loved the scene with Alexis and her first hangover. Castle is such a weird, wonderful father.
Excellent premier!

So what happens now? Kate and Castle are together, Kate's mother murder case is solved, where does that leave us now? Any new plot coming?

I LOVE the call back to the pilot!
At the end of the pilot episode, when Beckett says goodbye to Castle:
Castle: "Too bad. It would have been great."
Beckett: walks up to his ear and says "You have no idea."
4 years later, they FINALLY do it...
Castle: You were right, I had no idea!

Wasn't amazing but it was great, and exactly what this series needed.
If it had turned out that they didn't do it, i probably would have stopped watching right there.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS is what was going in my head when Kate walked in, looking sexy as ever. The building off the show was great, was i the only one who thought it could me the VP begore they said ik could be the vp? I could totally be a detective.

And gosh do I hope they fully solve/resolve the issue of who all murdered Beckett's mother by the end of the season. If it isom fact the Senator, lock him up or kill him off by May. Kate Beckett deserves some peace! The show can & I'm sure will still be great without this story.

I LOVE this show. The look of disbelief on Beckett's face when Castle told her to hide in his closet was priceless. I enjoyed seeing them trying to iron out & have a relationship in the midst of tying to solve a case/mystery & can't wait until next Monday!
I realize that the episode picked up the day after his suspension, but Espo really needs get over his issue with Ryan so that we can get back to their wonderful bromance. After all, Beckett would be dead were it not for Ryan.
At any rate, I love this show!

excellent premiere...fun..excitement..not much more one can ask! The writing is excellent and the two leads are perfect in the roles! Katic particularly is brilliant. Fillion is always charming and this time much more in take charge mode!! Looking forward to the season ahead with confidence of a good time!!

Defiantly the most anticipated premiere in my book and not a lot to complain about... Let's be honest, there were somethings that simply had to be there... Ironing the last of the bugs from the finale was the main focus, but very handily done sirs, I applaud you... Now we can let the awkward post-hookup moments lose upon the Castle world... It's gonna be a good season y'all! 8.5/10
