by at . Comments

Oh Gossip Girl. We're going to miss you so hard.

In honor of the repeats airing for the first time on the Style network, and the final season airing this fall on the CW (click here for your first, sexy taste of Gossip Girl Season 6), TV Fanatic is taking a look back.

Previously, we reflected on Gossip Girl Season 1, the year that started it all. Today, we ask you to share your favorite memories of the show's second season, during which all sorts of crazy drama went down.

Gossip Girl Season 2 was senior year for beloved Upper East Siders Serena, Blair, Chuck, Nate and Dan, but applying for college was only a small part of the story. This is GG, after all. Studying is an afterthought.

Whereas Season 1 introduced us to the characters and romances we came to love (or love to hate), Season 2 sought to test them with a never-ending slew of scandals, nemeses, obstacles and shifting alliances.

Gossip Girl killed off Bart (we thought) in the winter finale, while Blair was wooed by Lord Marcus, Dan by Rachel and Serena by Aaron and con man Gabriel, whose co-conspirator Poppy will be back in Season 6 (as will Bart).

Lily and Rufus took the first steps toward getting together, Nate struggled to distance himself from his family (a battle that persists to this day), Lil' J grew up fast on the UES and Vanessa was also on the show.

Serena van der Woodsen Mug Shot

We first met Cyrus and Jack, and Georgina returned to stir up trouble (when is that not true).

With a few '80s exceptions, such as the spinoff that wasn't, the humor, drama and sexual tension that made the show a breakout hit were present and then some in Season 2. Some episodes were particularly memorable.

What's your best memory of Gossip Girl Season 2? Favorite episode? Favorite moment?

Share it with us in the comment section below as we look back at the series we love and gear up for its swan song (see TV Fanatic's Gossip Girl spoilers for all the latest) beginning October 8!

cont. The whole party scenes, Nelly Yuki, Jenny with Blair, Blair with Chuck, the GG blast, the whole group argument, another heart wrenching CB scene, the scene of Blair with Jenny in the bathroom, the NS convo, the Oak room scenes with NS, joined by Dan, later DS, SB, the look between C and B. The next week scenes, SB, Jenny being crowned, Rufus and Lily engagement, the D, N and V scenes with Scott, the Serena and Carter scene, and the final scene with Chuck saying those 3 words to Blair.

2x25 The Goodbye Gossip Girl: this was a roundabout episode. The beginning with SB is good, specially when they are leaving in the limo. The scenes at school are all good, DS, CB are so sweet, Jenny and Eric's scene with the minions so good. Dan, Vanessa and Nate scene interesting. The graduation scene so much drama, and the way they all react so spot on to their characters. The scenes of the NJBC at Serena's place are so good. DS convo in it is not joyful but very well written. Nate speaking with his grandfather and later with Chuck was hilarious in a sense, the grandfather not looking phased at all and Chuck looking stunned by the NB breakup. Jenny and Eric figuring out what secret Jenny could use was good. The Eleanor and Blair scene was so iconic and healing. Dan speaking with Rufus and later Lily showing up and speaking with Rufus was classic GG. The next week scenes, SB, Jenny being crowned, Rufus and Lily engagement, the D, N and V scenes with Scott, the Serena and Carter scene, and the final scene with Chuck saying those 3 words to Blair.

cont. The moment S is arrested, how she asks for her brother, when C arrives to the police station to defend her, the phone call between B and G. 2x24 Valley Girls: I never believed I would write this, but it was really ruined by the projected pilot. Although it was great to see a Lily and family 80's version (Andrew McCarthy as Lily's father great, and Carol was cooler back then, also nice intro to Shiloh Hernandez), we were cheated of prom related things. Hated Chuck's outfit during his convo with Nate in the street but the convo was good. Blair's joy for the prom dress amazing, also good convo with S before that. Dan freeing Serena was good and also their scene in the cab. Nate and Blair arriving to prom was a good scene. DS arriving to prom was very entertaining. The one sided Chuck and Blair fight was amazing but the moment she's revealed as promo queen even more so, and more than that the moment Chuck reveals DS he voted for Blair. SB final convo in the steps was excellent too.

2x23 The Wrath of Con: The beginning with Chuck and Georgina in the cab. The whole part in Serena's room, with Blair showing up followed by Nate, Chuck arriving to the apparment with G and still looking slightly afraid of her, the whole NJBC convo, Dan showing up and later G showing up in front of everybody, their freakout. How Serena and later her and Chuck confront Gabriel and he spills everything, the whole meeting in the yard with Blair not wanting anything to do with G and later the whole group convo. Blair trying to lure G back to the dark side, how she presents G transformation to Serena. The next day when Chuck reviews Georgina's transformation, the way he looks at Blair when B speaks, how fabulous they all look. Dan trying to figure out what's going on. How N confronts C so greatly. Jenny trying to distract Lily talking about Twilight. G playing her part in front of Poppy. The heartbreaking Chuck and Blair scene. The moment S is arrested, how she asks for her brother, when C arrives to the police station to defend her, the phone call between B and G.

2x22 Southern Gentlemen Prefer Blondes: this episode was great, from the beginning to the end. The beginning with the girls was great, the boys playing basketball was awesome, Blair spying and later Chuck joining her was iconic, the next day her convo with Nate was interesting, also her convo with Serena (and Serena tried better outfits than the one she chose). Blair looking great, and her phone convo with Chuck. The whole scheming that night, their interactions with Gabriel and Serena, alone and together, when Poppy showed up, Nate showing up at the party. C and B going for the limo ride and at the next day when they woke up and talked. Chuck looking scared of Georgina (also their first actual onscreen convo), Serena figuring out who Gabriel really was, the dramatic NB convo. It had great moments and lines.

2x21 Seder Anything: that was actually better looking back that when you first see it, because of Dan and Serena mailing. Great comedic chemestry (and I'm thinking maybe the show failed to exploit this more). Armie Hammer as Gabriel, I never liked his hairdo in GG but looking back he wasn't bad as Gabriel, he was kinda entertaining. Cyrus, Eleanor, Rufus and Lily were great. Nate trying to hold his own with this family was good. Blair wasn't so good, but her bits with Serena were good. The most surprising thing was Jenny calling out Chuck, the whole interaction was awesome (and pretty much the first and only between them that most of the viewers enjoyed). Chuck and Serena at the beginning were also hilarious, with Serena trying to hide things and Chuck being smarmmy.

2x20 The remains of the J: not so good as the previous one, yet some memorable scenes. SB phone conversation because it was entertaining. Breakfast at the VDW, special C and D interaction with Eric's comment. Vanessa seeing Nate and Blair (her earring were pretty) and Chuck's appearance (and informative comment about Nate). Chuck and Blair convo by her locker (intense and epic). Vanessa going to see Chuck after Nate broke up with her. Dan and Jenny convo in the elevator, later Chuck and Vanessa convo in the elevator only because it was hilarious. V and N convo after the kiss (yuck!). J sending the blast to GG. DS convo while changing the sheets and the next scenes when Eric came to look for them and the 4 kids went to the lobby and Vanya was stressed, later how it ended while Lily and Rufus showed up.

cont. Chuck showing up at the Waldorfs. Dan receiving Rachel's later (also before where Rufus and Dan fought and we knew Dan's age). SB scene at the bar and later when Carter shows up, but just because of good chemestry in the latter case. 2x19 The Grandfather: Excellent title. The beginning with Chuck and Serena scene (actually all their scenes). Nate, Vanessa and Dan finding Tripp in the sidewalk and later Nate taking them all to his family state, their scenes their, including the football game and Maureen appearance. Nate and Vanessa dinner convo that night. Chuck, Blair and Carter scene. Blair stealing the sunglasses in front of Serena. Chuck and Serena scenes with Carter, Dorota and later Blair that night. Chuck and Blair scenes next day(seduction included despite how it ended) and theirs with Serena. Serena slapping Dan (also, her dress). Blair's makeup and hair. Jenny trying to help Dan confort Vanessa. The final scene was good for the drama only.

2x18 The Age of Disonance: better than the last 2. Good SB scene in the dressing room. Great Blair outfit. Nate and Dan scene at the beginning. The whole Blair feeling like her character after she found out about Yale, and later trying to figure out who sabotaged her. Vanessa and Serena scenes. Vanessa looking great, and her dinner with Nate, Serena and the director. Serena attempts to flirt with the director because it was hilarious. Chuck meeting Carter in the restaurant and their scenes during the episode. Dan feeling like his character specially in the part where he kinda seduces Rachel (too hilarious). The whole play and the critic with that face he had watching everything, specially how it changed after everybody started to rant. Jenny working in the costume department and her scene with Nate. The scene of the director's rant to the cast and later when he changed after the good review. Dan figuring things out and when he later told Blair. Blair and Rachel scene. Chuck showing up at the Waldorfs. SB scene at the bar and later when Carter shows up, but just because of good chemestry in the latter case.

2x16 You got Yale: Dan and Serena convo at the beginning, Rufus and Lily scene with Eric. All of Chuck and Lily scenes. Nate and Vanessa first scene. The parts where they find to which college they'll go. The opera scene of Serena, Dan, Rufus and Lily at the opera, Blair with her parents there (her outfit too), the scene where Blair and Chuck appear but don't see each other, Dan finding Nate and Vanessa, Jack's takedown, when Chuck punches Jack, and the next day the scene at the VDW. 2x17 Carrnal Knowledge: At the beginning Blair, Dorota and Harold and when Chuck wakes up in the hotel room and later calls Nate. Chuck, Nate and Vanessa scenes in the empty mansion although N and V were kinda annoying and Chuck's obsession with Elle was very out of the blue. Blair scheming. Serena's enthusiasm with Rachel although that was bittersweet because of how it ended. The scene where Dan tells Jenny about her racoon eyes. Blair and her minions coats. Chuck and Nate's phone conversation. Vanessa showing up at Nate's door. Chuck going through his father's safe. Serena and Rachel last scene.

And who am I? That's one secret I'll never tell ... You know you love me. XOXO, Gossip Girl

Blair: Fashion is the most powerful art there is. It's movement, design and architecture all in one. It shows the world who we are and who we'd like to be. Just like your scarf suggests that you'd like to sell used cars.
Dan: Vanessa gave me this scarf.
