Featuring fewer funny quips than any of the previous promos for Downton Abbey Season 3, the following preview focuses on kissing, crying and some serious emotion, with Matthew telling Mary "I'll never be happy with anyone else as long as you walk the earth" and Sir Anthony Strallin putting his heart on the line.
"You have given me back my life," he says.
Downton Abbey returns in Great Britain on September 16 and in the U.S. on January 6. Get excited and get emotional over it now:
