I love them both on the show, but Nathan seems kinda douuchy in RL with all his Firefly love and stupid jokes. Whatever. Stana is in all Castle fans hearts!

I've no problem voting for Stana Katic. And I wouldn't consider myself a Stana-Freak. I just like her better.

I don't know why them against each other is an issue for so many. This isn't a poll about the best show, but the best ABC star. No matter how hard it will be for Castle fans to decide, there can't be two winners. And this has nothing to do with fans of either celebrities. And even if you Emily were correct, and Stana's fans would vote all the time (I won't go into reasoning here. You're version of it was immensely childish) so what? Isn't that what it's about? In ALL the other polls people do it as well, especially with a show against another. Why should this be different?

@Emily: That wouldn't really make it possible for us to then take the ABC winner and pit him or her against the other network winners.
I mean, if the Stana fans are inspired to vote a lot and she wins over Nathan... wouldn't that prove the point of this entire tournament? That she's the most popular star on ABC?
Not really sure where "honor" falls in to place in any of these. We're looking for the most popular network star, we made that clear from the outset and readers have a chance to vote themselves and encourage whomever else they want to vote.

@Matt, my apologies, I worded myself badly. Of course you didn't purposely set it up so that they would be against each other. However I do feel once you saw they were pitted against each other, the honorable result would've been to call it a tie between them.

@Emily: We appreciate your enthusiasm and readership, but do feel a need to point out: We didn't do anything at all here to set up Stana against Nathan. TV Fanatic readers voted through numerous rounds and ended up with these two in the finals.
If I were a Castle fan, I'd simply be overjoyed that the two series leads beat out ALL other actors and actresses on the network in terms of popularity.

Well I love them both but I got to go with Stana. So far, TVF polls winners are both guys (Simon Baker and Jensen Ackles), and I like to throw a beautiful gal into the mix and show them it's not all about the guys.

You should just call this one a draw since they are both on the same show. Because right now, you're just provoking the Stana-Freaks into 'proving' she's more popular than Nathan because they have a serious chip on their shoulders and are kinda rabidly pathetic about their inferiority complex, which frankly embarrasses the entire Castle fandom. So good job here, tvfanatic. #idiots
