things went so easily for nancy BECAUSE she was going to have one big thing go wrong. and that might disenchant you even more as a plot device, but its not mystifying why everything went so well. weeds has always been meta, and ive caught that this week and last week. last week with the sushi helping nancy decide how to run business. this week, with nancy meeting a lot of goals, she fell short in a big, big way. yes, megan was a deus ex machina, but this show has always been big on showing us how nancy works after the fact just like with conrad, when she told esteban she was pregnant, and plan c at the airport.
it reminded me of old weeds and not just because it took place in re-agrestic

It was better then the rest of the season, but I am bummed. It would appear Jenji Kohan ran out of gas at the finish line. And that kinda sucks.
