I loved this episode. It was nice to get to know Sweets a little better, and I enjoy seeing the maturing of his character. It will be fun to see how his new relationship develops.

This is the first time I've ventured over here for the Bones review, and I gotta say, I am totally surprised at the vitriol towards Sweets. Really? People hate him that much? I think Sweets is great.
I only watch Bones in passing now...I was so furious at the end of season 6 that I kinda boycotted it for a season LOL. But when I do watch it, it seems great to me. Shows can be about a character and have the odd episode that's centred on another character.

I thought I stumbled into a Bones spin-off show for a minute there. The only thing that saved this episode was Sweets' chemistry with that FBI agent. He needs to get rid of Daisy STAT!

The only good things about this ep was Booth and Caroline. I adore those two bantering. She loves Booth. Bless her.

Is it just me or is the review title a really obscure reference to the Vampire Diaries (I'm thinking Damon Salvatore circa 2x01, The Return)?

@ Mindy you are the best! The show is called BONES not Sweets. Hart Hanson should remember that and mind what kept the series on air for 8 seasons. Booth and Brennan as partners, working with the Squint Squad. Not that idiot Sweets. ...and Yes. Yes! BRING BACK GORDON GORDON.

I was rooting for Booth to shoot Sweets too. What annoying, weak, overused character Sweets is. Glad this epi is over. Next one will be back to Booth and Brennan. Just like how it should be.

Fun to have an episode with little of the overbearing bully Booth. No wonder none of the women in his life have wanted to marry him, they are too smart. Some viewers are calling Daisy annoying when she at least listens to what people say and tries to become a nicer person, unlike bombastic Booth. I'm sort of sorry for her with Sweets straying again. Sweets is a great character, I've liked him from the first and hope he is on screen more, but he's been using Daisy for too long.
Hope the season goes back to the crime fighting (or figuring out) and less of the Brennan/Booth battleground they call a relationship. Back to the lab, boys and girls, there's work to be done.

I didn't mind that this episode was little bit Sweet centric. But on the other hand I don't want them to make this show too much about characters because it's about B&B's partnership and lately we haven't seen much of that and that's probably because of Emily's pregnancy, and that's okay, but now that she has given birth I think they need to show more B&B solving crimes TOGETHER.
BTW I think the best part of episode was when Booth threatened to shoot someone. It was hilarious :D

I want to see more Booth and Bones.. I agree with the other posters..this show is about B&B ...NOT sweets.. keep him behind a desk..I can't see how passing a gun simulator test makes hime "almost an agent". THat is just stupid..if he wants to be an Agent..send him to Quanico.. maybe for good, and bring back Gordon Wyatt for the profiler

I agree with Jeremy, Daisy is the most irritating person in the program, I don't really care if he gets a new girlfriend, I just hope Daisy leaves, the sooner the better.

About 3/4 of Bones fandom hate Sweets. But Hart doesn't care. He will reduce Booth's role as FBI Agent and happily give it to Sweets, Fake Agent. Hart doesn't give a damn just as long as his precious Sweets gets screentime. To hell that Booth has been the FBI for yrs. Smh

In the next episode previews, I thought I saw Daisy as the lab assistant?? Not sure, because they did say she was leaving town in this episode. The thing is in interviews about the show it has come up that the actress who plays Daisy is very busy, lots of work, and is seldom available to "Bones" to play her character. That makes me wonder if they aren't maybe plotting her out of the story??

I like Sweets, so, of course, I enjoyed this episode -- but comments in past indicate a certain percentage of fans don't like him. I wouldn't want every show featuring the ensemble at the expense of Bones and Booth, but a lot of memorable episodes have featured Angela and Hodgins especially (like when they were in jail or when Angela's boyfriend in Texas or somewhere out west was killed in the desert).

This is a good episode to me. I like the pairing of Sweets and Starling. And I prefer this possibly new love interest. Daisy is just too annoying in my opinion. I don't have anything much to say for this ep though. Cause i think overall it is a nice ep, Not as great as a few others before but it is not a let down. I kinda hope Booth will somehow train Starling. That'll be great. Cause her shot was terrible.

It was a nice epi. I don't know why but from I did want Sweets & Starling to get together. It could be coz I hate Daisy. All the characters were fun in this episode. Also loved how Sweets showed his ability in front of Starling with Angela's help. Go Sweets!!!

@ Regal. I agree. I like Sweets with anyone but Daisy. If anyone is the most annoying character in the show, its Daisy. Get rid of Daisy and Sweets is not nearly as bad. Overall, I liked the episode. I love Booth trying to convince Brennan and himself that desk work would be fine with him, all the while trying to inch into the investigation. Funny episode and good tension release from the past 3 episodes.
