Chair fans you know the chairytale will happen in 9 episodes time...but by then I fear it will be anti-climatic as this union is becoming tedious because of the recycling of the on/off/on/off storyline. I'm was such a big fan but now it's getting too old, forced, and now 'cheesy' for my liking ...all those cheesy, unnatural, cliched lines about their love. It's not like it used to be, sexy, fun, dynamic. I loved them at the start of the show; but 6 years later the same 'will they/won't they' has ruined it for me. Even the sex scene in this ep and kisses were boring...I think it's because of the cheesy dialogue, I don't know. They have ruined this couple for me. Ugh.

The episode was as dull and lifeless as Blair's hair
And I'm tired of Chuck and the "business", why can't he just move on?!
I gotta say I'm not a big fan of the first episodes, but this one: Good work ! Great start ! Chair having the heat on, Serena living a "grown up life", Lily being as stupid as ever, Ivy messing around, Nate loosing his last remaining brain cell...
Puts the forthcoming nine episodes under a lot of pressure.

Couldn't agree with this review less. Honestly, if they want Dair fans to come back around AT ALL, give us a REASON TO! I don't mean reuniting them (I accept that will never be), I mean giving Chair SOMETHING REAL. Tell us why Blair chose him. Give us actual reasons. Not metaphors, not lofty declarations of fatedness, give us something *real*. God, I think of Blair's speech about Dan in the Valentine's Day speech last year - she rattled off all the real, specific reasons he deserved to be loved. Then when he kissed her, you could actually *see* the wheels in her head turning. Chair has done nothing even remotely like that - we get no real picture of *why* Blair's all in, what that means, or how she even arrived at that conclusion. GG writers serve up the classic "tell" when it comes to Chair. No "show". And people here just eat it up?

I'm a Chair fan and I have to admit, the couple has lost a lot of its a appeal. From the beginning, they were intense with a lot of chemistry but now it just seems long and dragged out. Chuck and Blair used to be so good together but now it feels forced and boring.

I'm not sure what to think of the episode. I appreciate the fact that Serena wants a new start. The way her friends behaved was totally obnoxious. Dan was terrible! I'm glad she slapped him. He clearly still has feelings for Blair, so my only hope is Serena gets to stay with her new guy (or ends up with Nate) and doesn't end up with Dan after the way he has treated her.
Rufus is so stupid and gross! Sleeping with Ivy was way out of line. Get your act together! He raised Little J, how can he not see a scam coming a mile away? After all he and Lily went through I can understand why she decided to be with Bart. At least than her empty and loveless marriage can be with someone she barely care about, rather than Rufus who she has clearly loved for a long time.
Chuck and Blair being together but not being together isn't much different than last season...or a few seasons ago. How many times can they do that? Let's hope she doesn't end up dating stupid people again. Chuck seems a littl

Were we watching the same episode???? I did not see an improvement over the last season and a half. It may have brought back memeories of the show's early days, but only in a wishful thinking kind of way. Blair's hair is still dull and lifeless, Serena's orbs are still on display, and my eyes are still burning from the wrongness of Rufus and Ivy getting naked togethor.

Let's be honest, that opening sex scene blows. In fact any sex scene involving Chuck has always been kinda gross. Has anyone ever noticed that Chuck is the only one who always has a shirt on? Nate loses it quite frequently and Dan too sometimes. But even the producers of the show know that a shirtless Chuck is gag-worthy.
Second, dragging out the Chair thing is ridiculous. And another pact? What are they, 16? Throw in some pinky promises while you're at it to make it legit. Just get them together or break them up. This is Gossip Girl, not ChuckBlairSoapOpera.
Finally, I'm happy Blair got the mental bitch slap she deserves for the past 2 seasons. And delivered by her "BFF", too. I know that Steven is not permanent, but one can only hope he is. Serena just looked so happy and glowy without a moody, self-conscious, jealous bitch by her side.

It is quite sad when people who should be together, won't do so because of self pride. However here are my predictions; Charles and Blair will end up together (hopefully pregnant before series finale), Serena and Nate; and Dan and Georgina (Totally gross). Lily Rhodes Van der Woodsen Bass Humphrey, that is an unanswerable question. May she have happiness and success.

Okay just finishes watching gossip girl and DAMNNNN WAHHHHHHHH >< I can't believe it's back for the last time :( okay to be honest I think that EPISDEO was more of a part two to the finale... It legit picked up where it left..
Unless the other season preimes it was full on scanner loud and dramatic and I LOVE IT :D WAHHH but you can sooo tell their going to be rushing it now because if 9 eps left -.- ugh but it's okay :3 and what the hell is Bart hidding D;
I love Serena's story this season and excited for Blair's fashion story , plus chuck finding out about Bart and Nate and gossip girl D; >< so excited :3 and I'm even excited for dan's book story :3 WAHHHH THIS SEASON IS GOTTA BE EPIC...
The highlight of the show is Georgina and Blair their little come backs to one another is just oh my god :3

I really liked this episode, although as some people have said, I'm also quite annoyed that they're still dragging the chair/dair situation out when we all know that its going to be Chair in the end. Butttt! I do think that it is only logical for Dan to still have some unresolved feelings for Blair since he hasn't had any closure from the whole thing, so I think that will be resolved and then Dan and Serena will become closer cause I couldn't help but notice that for two people who ended up on such bad terms, Dan and Serena didn't seem to hate each other all that much this episode!

Pointlessly overdone. Nothing aside from G was worth watching. This show has destroyed all the characters. Chair should have ended seasons ago with then either together or apart. Preferably apart seeing as chuck is so much better without Blair.. Same goes for her.
I will not be watching this Chair reunion season.

Georgina was the best part of the episode hands down.
She made me LOL'd with her references to the brainwashing cult and the sacrifice. I really liked this episode which is something new since I've been hating almost every episode from season 5.

Lol at people hating on Blair and saying Serena shouldn't forgive her. Um, am I the only one who remembers that Serena had sex with Dan while he was still with Blair and also made a sex tape? That's twice in a row Serena has slept with Blair's boyfriend. I don't really care that she did because I don't care for Dair but when Blair was apologizing to Serena, it would've been nice of Serena to at least mention "Oh Blair, fyi, I slept with your boyfriend." Blair doesn't need to apologize to Serena at all. Yeah Blair kicked her out but Serena has done some pretty shitty things as well so don't badmouth one person and not the other. They're both at fault but at least Blair had the decency to apologize!
