ABC has just released a new Grey's Anatomy Season 9 group photo and individual cast member shots as well. Coming more than two weeks into the season, the photos may have been withheld to avoid Grey's Anatomy spoilers.

Case in point: Eric Dane's Mark Sloan and Chyler Leigh's Lexie Grey do not appear.

The survivors are all there, though. Click to enlarge the new cast pictures below ...

I didnt like lexie she was boring Im kidda glad they got rid of her.

I though April hadn't passed the boards

I dind't like at all that Lexie died. Lexiepedia rocked!!

I love the pictures, but i'm a bit annoyed nobody mentioned Teddy. I understand, she was in the show only for 2 and a half season, but do you really care so little of her? It's almost like she didn't even exist! I'm sorry for whining in the wrong place, just that everybody seems to ignore her departure, even in the show. I'm SO gonna miss all of the characters who left. But yeah, pictures are GREAT. Everybody attendings now. Yay!

Carefully composed picture. But everyone's wearing SGH attendings scrubs.
Don't get Kepner's status being as a fellow, that post would have been filled. The board retakes aren't until June next year, so she's an unqualified 'surgeon'.
Alex didn't accept the fellowship for peads, but did that job got filled?
Time to move on to the post Slexie era I guess. I hope TV fanatic put this photo up soon at the top of the GA page!

Maybe that pic represents the season 9 on a global note. I can only imagine that April will eventually pass the boards and become an attending. As for Arizona, I actually read in the newspaper that the first leg transplant took place last year in Spain (for real) so who knows, she might get that, or a prosthesis... that girl is not gonna lay down in bed her whole life, that's for sure.
One of the interns might be promoted regular for all we know...

Surprised that Arizona has both legs and April is in navy scrubs, but still, it's sort of sad to see our little residents all grown up as huge attendings. Since Lexie died, there's no more light blue scrubs in the main cast :(

looks so empty without lexie and mark.. but it was their decision so all we can do is accept it.
Navy blue scrubs!!

Yes that's what I said when i commented the first pic, they are ALL wearing Navy blue scrubs (including April btw ?) and we sorta missed that big moment cause our attention was sucked into the plane crash...

They're all in Navy Blue scrubs!!! LOl I've waited for this moment. And you can actually count the number of people once off without re counting to make sure. I will miss Eric and Chyler but they wanted to leave and so the show must go on. I think that this season will bring us back to the classic show that we loved before it diverted down weirdness. I hope we get to season 10

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

Did you say it? 'I love you. I don't ever want to live without you. You changed my life.' Did you say it? Make a plan. Set a goal. Work toward it, but every now and then, look around; Drink it in 'cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow."

Meredith (closing voiceover)

There's a reason I said I'd be happy alone. It wasn't 'cause I thought I'd be happy alone. It was because I thought if I loved someone and then it fell apart, I might not make it. It's easier to be alone, because what if you learn that you need love and you don't have it? What if you like it and lean on it? What if you shape your life around it and then it falls apart? Can you even survive that kind of pain? Losing love is like organ damage. It's like dying. The only difference is death ends. This? It could go on forever.
