I don't like Wade any less or George any more than I did last season. I hope its not like OTH was with Brucas who was clearly the fan favorite but were ruined because another pairing was the writer's favorite. The writers tried very hard to ruin the character Brooke so that Peyton & Leyton looked better & would be more accepted- well they weren't. I think that maybe that's what may be happening here- not completely sure but maybe.
If not its just Wade with his defenses up & hopefully he will get to grow a little, maybe even buy the bar. I wanted Zoe to fight for him though:( we will see...

I am probably the only one here who roots for Zoe and George. I like the 2 together because they are meant to be together. Yes, Wade is going to challenge Zoe and I get that, its great sex and she needs to get out of her comfort zone. The question is: Can she be with Wade forever? No, no that is like MerDer in Greys they cannot be together because she is George s love and she is absolutely right to take a step back because she is looking for a genuine relationship with George, a power couple in their own way, that is how I see it. George is cute but also sincere and it takes a lot to break off a 15 year engagement/relationship, you don't do that when you don't love another person. My opinion: Zoe and Wade should have "done it" in New Orleans. But maybe we all need the suspension and the longing to continue to watch the perfect little show. Cant wait for the next episode!!!

You know I think Wade acted like that because once again Zoe turned her attention back to George. She sleeps with him and then is basically like compete for me. I think if the George thing hadn't happen, he would have stepped up. But I think it's kind of presumptuous to ask someone to pour their heart out when you still haven't made up your mind and they could be hurt. I was actually annoyed again by Zoe, just make a choice.

(CONTINUED ... Oy vey) Even though the intro still needs work (because it was a little strange) I liked that each of the other characters were in there and are getting storylines that blend together. It’s always great when the other characters also have layers. Also – the town gossip – perfect! :)

I’m just hoping they give Wade’s character back his lovableness which we had for what?... 22 episodes! And maybe he was just continuing to push Zoe away because of that fact that George is still in the picture, not having married Lemon. Wade only started to be seen by Zoe after having slept with her, when she thought the guy she was pining for was getting married… I don’t know. Just not happy about what they did to Wade’s character in this episode.
I did like however, that Zoe seemed to be less ridiculous with her emotions and I noticed they had written in some of the things the fans were saying specifically Zoe now placing an emphasis on the fact that George and Lemon had been together for 15 years and that Zoe didn't want to be a rebound like she seemed to be last season when they took off to New Orleans (and the majority of the viewers pointed out when it happened).

"I have always wanted Wade and Zoe to be together but after the way he acted in tonight's season premiere, I'm not so sure I feel that way anymore."
I'm going to be honest and agree with other fans of the show who say that Leila (who wrote the episode) has always wanted the show to project toward George being cheered on and it's fair to say that Bethel's character, Wade, has a large fan base behind him, and Zade in general. It's just that, I got to the end of the episode and thought - there really wasn't one scene between Zoe and Wade where that flicker of something extra happened (like it has SO many times before). It was pretty clear that Leila wanted us to find Wade incredibly immature (strangely WAY more than we have ever seen of his character to the point that she wanted him to be unlikable) and for the triangle to only connnnnnnnnntinue with George now having a better shot – because he’s clear of Lemon and remember that Wade (as written by Leila) is REALLLLLY immature.

I still want Wade and Zoe together, however I agree that he needs to grow a bit. He always seems to think of himself as second best. That's why I think he wasn't going to compete with George for Zoe; because in his mind he would never win.

this is another show that I'm so happy is back!! It's totally my light hearted palate cleanser for all the other drama on TV. What can I say, it just makes me happy!

I too, hated the way Wade acted tonight, but it's nothing new. That was Wade at his best, or worst should I say. He's always been this immature. The same way Lemon will be evolving this season, he can only improve. I was happy to see that Lemon won't be that much of an enemy this season. With all the struggles she'll be facing, she'll grow into a more human and relatable character. Good episode, I was happy to see Zoe didn't choose anyone yet. Gotta keep that triangle going, even tough Wade kinda took himself out already...
Lemon: Oh, this is about George Tucker. Because he broke up with Tansy and you think Zeorge is inevitable. No, you don't? Why not? He's finally single. She's...
