Let's give the reviewer a break. He must have gotten distracted during that scene. It was fun reading his explanations about where the card came from. I personally would have been more upset if Sal didn't make a copy of it.

Can't believe you missed Saul taking the real chip out of a secret compartment in his suitcase on the plane. I know lots of other people have commented saying the same thing but REALLY come on now and watch the show you're reviewing.

Did you even watch the episode? How could you miss the whole Saul thing? He planted a fake inside the briefcase and inserted the real recording in the lock. And I would only assume he was upset because he was still shocked by the fact that Carrie had been right all along...

I kind of guessed some of you did not actually watch the episodes you are commenting but now I have the proof. I did not even finish reading the article, what's the point...I'll stop reading TV fanatic from now on...

How can a TV critic miss the whole Saul thing?!! You get paid to watch and critique TV and that scene was not that complicated. What Jim said is exactly right.

Homeland, Season 2, has gotten boring. Episode three is proof. It should have begun with the final 5 minutes of the show and advanced from there. Instead the first part of the show was retread material. It's as though the writers don't want to move the story line along too fast for fear of nothing original beyond the initial plot. Can't take too much more of Carey's threadbared disfunction and Brody's implausible escapes. Boring.

You must have blinked when they showed Saul taking the real memory chip out of a secret compartment hidden in the briefcase's handle just before he stowed it in the overhead bin on the plane. The one the Lebanese security got was a decoy or duplicate.

They did give an explanation. Saul planted the fake. The real one was located in the locking mechanism of the briefcase. Saul removed it and put it in his shirt pocket once he was safely on the plane. It was all in the episode.
