    How sad for Michael Weatherly that is always the Tony fans who moan & groan about the show when Michael loves the show, loves his character and is the one pushing to play the humor angle.

  2. Nat

    @Michael

    Ummm..Michael??? Please, for the sake of viewers, "Educate" us with your wisdom & knowledge on what TIM has done to Gibbs. I tend to agree with Kevin, regarding Tony's random tendencies to be cruel - especially to McGee whether it's "funny" or not. In real life Tony would be written up or even suspsended. Or yes...Tim would get sick of it and nock Tony into next week.

    But Kevin was talking about the Tony-Tim dynamic, and you jumped off on an ENTIRELY different tangent with Tim-Gibbs.

    Explain, please.

  3. Michael

    @Kevin

    with all the horrible things Tim has done to gibbs Im sure the last thing gibb would say is good job

  4. chat man

    I know that Palmer & Breana were GOING to elope but did they get the chance? Ducky had the heart attack so maybe they never did

  5. Kevin

    Getting sick of Tony's cruel remarks to McGee. No one in real life would put up with that. In reality Tony would have been written up for all his cruel remarks and warned if he keeps it up he would be fired. IMO they need to have a show where Tim is sick of these remarks and just decks Tony and knocks him out cold and Gibbs tells Tim it's about time he stood up for himself.

    I love watching Tony too hes my favorite on NCIS

  7. Michael

    Did I miss something why do people think Plamer and that woman he married arent married?

  8. Carol

    I'm backing you up Katie! Tony is the reason I watch NCIS. All the characters are special, but Tony is funny and handsome.

  9. Sharon

    Loved it. Thanks, Gibbs even laughed.

  10. leo

    I think it is past time for Gibbs to start treating Palmer like one of the team instead of sending him out of the room every time he wants to talk to Ducky and staring him down every time he tries to get into the conversation.

    The top popping of the CAFPOW was real. It was just kept in. However you could tell from the reactions it wasn't in the script. Good call. Actual reactions from Mark Harmon and Paul Perrette. Totally cool.

  12. katie

    Love watching Tony...he's cute and funny

    Just to make sure we are all on the same page. The character of Father Francis Mulcahy was played by Rene Auberjonois in the 1970 movie and by William Christopher in the TV series which ran from 1972-1983.

  14. elizmom

    Ok I stand corrected. William did not specify show or movie and I haven't seen the movie.
    Loved that ducky was the only one able to pronounce the real name and know the lyrics to his one hit wonder!
    @eutro- am I mistaken that palmer and breana postponed the wedding in the season finale because palmers family could not make it? So far we don't know his marital status- whether they git married in DC during the months after the bombing or not. I'm wondering if the writers are going to address that incongruity later this season.

  15. Panette

    I did not care for last nights episode. I always look forward to them, and I actually fell asleep during this one. Less Ziva, more Tony and Tim.

    Its interesting that Vance and Palmer are the only team members who are married. Is it just that its easier to write, or that such demanding case work insists on excessive time-on-the-job?
    Its been fun to watch Abby and McGee trying to work out their ideosyncrasies toward a relationship, including rule # 12. I know McGee follows Gibbs' rules; yet Abby just goes with where her heart leads her.

    It still would be fun to see her do a Bacall to McGee's Bogey. I think they could pull it off, in a very humorous way of course. Or maybe Tony could to a funny take-off while under cover, on a Thomas Magnum type. He is excellent doing caricatures. The under cover scenes he's played in the past were a riot.

    McCallum is the man. Ducky is the best (& Abbey). Loved when no one could pronounce the guy's name and Ducky just reels it off. I guess it helps that in a past life you were a Russian government agent, eh?

    Halloween is coming. What cool, sexy character is Abby gonna portray next? Maybe Lauren Bacall. It would be a stretch, but Pauley can pull it off.

    @elizmom
    You're going to have to go back further than the MASH tv series. Rene was the chaplin in the original MASH movie. 1969 or 70 or so.

    It was a good ep this time. What's fun now is that we don't know when the next nutjob will strike. I still think we should see Vance setting up strong contingency plans for super threats to the team, making the team ever more capable and deadly. He should be making them fitter, stronger, and even more coordinated, maybe with a few neat new toys. Its next level time.

    And let's have Ziva do another nite club act. Come on. Write to the character's strenths, as well as to the actors' strengths.

    This was a amazing episode it was very cool to see Ducky take the lead as if he was an agent. It was good to see him back where he belongs and happy tough. Ziva called the headquarters home!!!! :D that is a first

    no idea what Gibbs is making

  21. MWK

    Great episode and a lot of fun to watch. Everyone was spot on, loved the old rocker and his attempt to still be cool, loved that Ducky was the one to know his one-hit-wonder song lyrics too! Great shot McGee put that commanding officer back in her place, she needed to be helpful not sarcastic. Great episode, Tony was not wasted, there is no TIVA except flirting, Abby and Palmer do their eccentricities wonderfully and Gibbs is the papa. Wonderful!

  22. SAM

    @allie701 I agree with you. He seemed reluctant to be returning to his old stomping grounds, and yes, his face seemed to be showing regret at having to do so. I think he rather liked taking the lead in this case, but what all of that means for the future I haven't a clue. Probably nothing right now, but down the road?

  23. Jennifer

    Finally!! A great NCIS episode!! I really enjoyed this episode and was glad to see ole Duckman back in the end. I also loved the kidding Gibbs gave the team about Palmer and the headslap Gibbs gave Tony(man that must've hurt!!). I also laughed out loud at Tony calling Ducky and ole coot and then McGee talking about a Star Trek convention he went to in 2002 and Gibbs sayig " ok enough already!":) and I for one WANT TIVA together but not until later on. They could do like they did in JAG and wait til the very last season to bring these two together.

    Funny, I didn't feel that Ducky showed relief to be back in the autopsy chamber. Actually I thought he showed regret having to go back into isolation after the excitement of working with the team. Only after Palmer's total ineptitude demonstrated that Ducky was still needed, did the old gentleman hitch up his pants and dive back in.

  25. ALISA

    i DON'T like the headslaps...and i'm TIRED of tony being shown a LACK of RESPECT from gibbs....i didn't agree with what tony said....but, even still....and i DON'T LIKE TIVA....their WRONG for each other.....i gave it 4 out of 5 stars.....i would NOT blame MW if he wanted to LEAVE the show....i LOVED what tony wore....but, would have liked to seen the SHOULDER HOLSTER as well.
