This was a great epi. The angel was the kid from the "Bugs" epi. Kevin's mom was cool. Smacking the King of Hell upside the head was awesome. Crowley's red smoke was cool. Apparently, that red smoke is pretty dusty since Crowley kept dusting himself off. LOL
As for the boys, there is so much that happened that we don't know about and that is the whole point. It all will be revealed in time. Don't forget that Dean lived like an animal for a year and Sam has been playing house and god know what else. So, I would say they are def out of sync for the time being.

Loved the spark in this one that is starting to mirror the draw it had back in the first few seasons. Really enjoyed the episode and rewound a few scenes several times to rewatch(finding Cas in Purgatory, losing Cas in Purgatory, Sam speaking Latin . . . in reverse). Looking good SPN!

Crowley isn't new, what am I missing? Loved this episode, love Dean as always, he is always very focused. Kill em all and let God sort em out :-), but God is missing, oh I love this show. Tiger Mom, just wonderful, wonder who thought that up. Geez!!! just great.

I keep wondering, I read this interview with Mischa Collins and he said whatever it happening with him is part of a overarching threat for the season...I wonder if Dean and Benny are somehow the biggest threat...

I really like what you're doing with the new season it's bringing the boys back together and introducing I taking away characters. I just wonder who else is going to be brought back and that Cass that would need to I hope he's Cass of season 4. I really like where the show is going I'm going to watch it all the way through

"The Mona Lisa."
"The real Mona Lisa, where's she's topless."
The bidding scene alone made this a great episode, but add on Sam with the hammer of Thor, Castiel and Dean reconciling in Purgatory and the brothers back on a hunt with Kevin and his mom made this a brilliant episode.
"Where'd you get the 5/8ths of a virgin?"
Classic lines throughout the episode. :D

I love the new Crowley. Not sure where they are going with Castiel. It looks like this could be the last season.

Great episode! And we got a hint of what happened to Castiel. He didn't desert Dean, as some thought. He left to draw the Leviathan away from Dean. (unlike the other monsters in Purgatory, Dean would have been helpless against the Levi) It looked like it was Dean who deserted Castiel when Castiel needed some help. In the first ep I was angry at Sam. Now I'm angry at Dean! And the "new" Crowley is very interesting. With the threat of the brothers closing the gates of Hell, Crowley is becoming much more ruthless.
i absolutely loved this episode.looks like their efforts are paying off!hopefully there will be a lot more episodes like this in the season!

Yes I've felt the difference in the pace and the show but how long can it gooo on for will there be a bigger threat than sealing the gates of hell in season 9....
