TV Ratings Report: Nashville Heads South

at . Comments

Good news and bad news this week for two of the best reviewed new shows of the fall season:

Nashville (6.8 million, 2.0 adults 18-49 rating) fell 29 percent from its opener on ABC of a week ago, but Arrow remained strong in the 18-49 demographic (1.3) and only lost a smidgeon of its overall viewers...

They do need to show Jonathan Jackson more on Nashville he's fantastic actor be was perfect on general hospital he Has 5 Emmys so I hope Nashville show him more Chicago fire is good

To clarify I meant to say why Nashville dipped in ratings. As big GH fan I am disappointed JJ left GH to not be utilized enough.

you want to know why Nashville is struggling because Jonathan Jackson needs to be in it more. This thirty year old doesn't have 5 emmy's for no reason. He's one of the most phenomenal actors ever to grace the screen. I really want to see him bitch someone out on this show.

I wanted to watch Nashville, but Wednesdays at 10:00 is a busy time slot for me! Chicago Fire comes on at 10 along with American Horror Story on FX and i only have 2 DVRs. So, I think Nashville needs to move to a different time slot...Tuesdays at 9:00 and Sundays at 9:00 are my only 2 slots open :) there are a lot of good shows on nowadays! I watch CW the majority of the time. I watched Emily Owens M.D. and I was not impressed. So, thats why my tuesdays at 9:00 slot is open. I love Arrow and I didn't think I was going to like Beauty and the Beast because I was not a fan of Kristin Kreuk, but I ended up really liking the new Beauty and the Beast. I think she really does a good job of the female lead in this show. Supernatural is a favorite of mine, but for goodness sakes, will someone cut Sam's hair?? LOL. Also, I really wish they would bring Jo back for a love interest for Dean...yes, I know Jo is dead, but its supernatural so come on guys I think the dead should be allowed to come back :)

Still pretty good for Arrow. It managed to gain 1.3 in the demo, equal to last week and it hardly went down in viewers.
In regards to Supernatural, Wednesday has really helped this show out. I'm assuming that Arrow's audience is assisting Supernatural in the ratings seeing as Supernatural has gone up since Arrow premiered last week.
Overall, these two are a great pairing and it's a smart move by The CW. I expect one more week for The CW to determine Arrow, Beauty and the Beast and Emily Owens M.D. ratings before they order out any back order episodes.
