Whoopi Goldberg Checks in to 666 Park Avenue

Many viewers checked out of the 666 Park Avenue premiere - its ratings were a major disappointment for ABC - but a former Oscar winner is checking into the new Terry O'Quinn drama.
Entertainment Weekly confirms that Whoopi Goldberg will guest star on the ninth episode of the season as Maris Elder, a current shut-in and former resident of The Drake. Look for her to meet with Jane and help her understand the building's supernatural forces.
Goldberg, a co-host on The View, also appeared on Glee last year.
