Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel are in, but Rider Strong is officially out.

With the Internet abuzz over Girl Meets World, the Boy Meets World spinoff that will focus on Cory and Topanga's 13-year old daughter, the actor behind Shawn Hunter has issued a statement on his website.

“At this point, I have no official involvement," with the new Disney Channel series, Strong says. "There might be a chance to see some of the BMW cast in a guest spot, and I think it would be nice to find out where our characters have been all these years."

But, overall, Strong is "extremely happy" Girls Meets World is going forward, concluding:

"I think it should be its own show. It will be about Cory and Topanga, their daughter and a new set of characters.”
