Isn't Dan playing Serena?
I thought tv fanatic revealed that in a spoiler.

Have to agree that this was the best episode since the premiere. I was glad to see some movement on the Blair/Serena front, even if it broke my heart. Now what I really need is for Serena to tell Blair that Dan is exactly the reason SB drifted apart and stopped being best friends. You don't date a guy your bff loves when you don't even love him. How could B have put her own fear of being with Chuck over Serena's pain?

Anyway, Chuck and Ivy's plan had more merit than I thought. Too bad it failed and Lily once again showed both Chuck and Serena what a terrible mother she is. CB at the end was really sweet, though, and almost made up for the other setbacks.

Georgina's one liners were the highlight in terms of comedy. :)

One of the best moments in GG history was when Blair told Dan, "I'd rather end up with no one than be with you." Thank you!!!!! Even as a diehard Chair shipper, my problem with "Dair" (they don't even deserve a combined name) was never that Blair wasn't with Chuck per se, but that she was with Dan of all people. For crying out loud, Dan has made it clear from season one that he hates Blair and everything she stands for, so why would she ever even remotely consider the possibility of being with him? In the first half of season four before he fell "in love" with her, he was actively plotting to bring her down, or does no one remember when he stole Chair's peace treaty? Finally, Blair clearly spelled it out for Delusional Boy that even if she's not with Chuck, she still wouldn't be with Dan!!!

Can we stop pretending that sage has a hot body and that the "sex dress" didnt looke like it was made out of toilet paper?

Don't even let me start talking about Sage. I think that in 6 years of guest stars she's by far the most useless (and there were loads of useless guest stars during all these years). And her father isn't any better. If he was intended to be the one that put Serena back in track, I think it would have been far better if she had redeemed just with her own determination, building her own career (she's the only character who isn't working at the moment, and it's a shame).
I was a little impressed that Nate had a good storyline (he still keeps sleeping with female guest stars, but it wouldn't be him if he didn't, right?), I just hope that the writers won't lose him in the way...
Rufus and Ivy: I skip all of their scenes, simply because it's just a waste of time and I'm not interested at all.

I think that I could review the episode just with quotes. Lol.
1) Blair [talking to Chuck]: "No one is better for me than you."
2) Blair: "There’s no Chuck Bass chapter without Blair Waldorf."
3) Georgina [referring to the reason why Blair dated Dan]: "Briefly after she lost her prince and her mind."
4) Blair [talking to Dan]: "You pretended to be better. At least I ended up with the right person. [...] I'd rather be with no one than with you."

The last one was Amazing. Something like: "thank God!". Blair finally made clear that she has never loved Dan and that Chuck is The One for her (not that we Chair fans needed explainations, but someone else did, so...).
Dan is really at rock bottom right now, and the evil part of me keeps saying: "just leave him alone in Brooklyn, he deserves it sooo much!". He's the most pathetic character in the show, acting like a victim, when he clearly isn't.

Bye Spences. Hopefully the real Gossip Girl, as we know it, will be back the next episode. I have to say: this episode was a disappointment because everything seemed too obvious and as for the next episodes that needs to change. With the possible exit of the Spences, we might go back to the good n old times.

Sorry for my english but I m from greece. I read general comments and I really dont get why people want so much serena and dan together. I know that the show start with this couple but it's not so healthy for the development of each character to end like they start. Dont forget that their parents used to be married and if they end up together thats would be abnormal. Even if their parents dont be together they share a sibling! They bring greek tragedy in the show and that never ends well i know... So many things had happens to them which dont allow them to reconcile. Unfortunately I see that all the characters ends like they started and thats sad. I only watch now for the fashion and ok to see how it ends. With all the respect in other opinions. xoxo

Amy Heckerling saved the season. So far the best episode in first half of the season.

I love seeing Serena in a burger fast food. I'm also getting interested again with Dan's character. I cheered when Nate broke up with Sage. I also like the music they used in here. I'm glad that Spences' story lines had ended.

In short I wanted to see it all over again. Do you guys know where I can watch again the episode online? Not in hulu please, don't have access. Many thanks.
