Nashville Receives Full Season Order from ABC

Saddle up, ABC viewers: the network has ordered a full season of the southern-based soap opera Nashville.

Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere-anchored drama is a critical and TV Fanatic favorite.

In renewing the series for an entire season, ABC pointed to its upscale audience, as well as its viewership once DVR viewing is taken into account: 9.4 million viewers and a 3.2 in 18-49-year old demographic.

The network also ordered three more scripts each for Malibu Country and Last Man Standing. Both have performed well in their 8 p.m. block the past two weeks.
