hum.. maybe.. what neil saw on the box was rumple´s knife.. someone did move it.. meybe he is rumples son and that is how august could persuade him so quickly.

I think that whatever the dream means, it's a side effect of having suffered under the sleeping curse. Aurora, Snow, and Henry have all fallen victim to that curse. Aurora and Henry are having the same nightmare, and Snow's having nightmares - by her reaction to Aurora's, wouldn't be surprised if it was the same.

Don't know what the dream means, but I really do think the sleeping curse makes them have it.

There's no reason (yet) to think that August kept the money for himself. He can't exactly mail a wad of cash to a woman in a federal penitentiary! It's possible that he got the money to her after she was released. She had to start her life over somehow once she got out, and the cash would be a good place to start.

I am curious as to what August showed Neal in the box. It had to be something profound. I'm also wondering how the postcard got to Neal in the first episode of the season - August was still somewhat, erm, out of sorts at the time. Maybe he set up some sort of contingency.

i loved the emma flashback. it made me understand her hostility and made me actually like her!! want neil and her to reunite as it seems he is her true love and hopefully she'll understand why he sacrificed everything for her.....
i so confused, so henry is her child? but i fort he was regina's too????

Enjoyed the episode, but I am definitely NOT a Neal fan. I appreciate that he loved Emma, but he was definitely not a good influence for her. It does suck the way August manipulated the situation, but it was for her good ultimately.

If we don't see Neal again, I won't be sorry. I honestly was expecting her "baby daddy" to be a little more attractive and irresistibly appealing to a young Emma; and Neal doesn't fit into the "true love" standard of manliness and attractiveness to me for Emma.

Count me as someone who also likes Emma. Her character has such great chemistry with everyone. Can we be certain that August only gave Emma the car keys? Maybe it was too risky to leave money with the prison guard and he hid it somewhere in the car. I liked this episode a lot, but it was sad that Emma had to go through life thinking that she had been betrayed by everyone she loved, when in fact, it was the complete opposite. I also enjoyed Hook and Emma as partners.

It was a little odd that August did not approached Neal instead of Emma. However, the prophecy was that she would return to Storybrooke in 28 years, so maybe telling her too early would have changed things. Also, maybe it was her destiny to become involved in law enforcement, to equip her with the skills to break the curse, although I have no idea how August would have known this!

Hook is so goodlooking and hot. But I think Emma has chemistry with everyone...she had chemistry with Graham, jefferson, even August, now even Neal and Hook. I hope that Neal isn't Bae but it seems like he will be. Poor Henry will have rumple as his grandpa in that case. Lol.

I know a lot of fans don't really care for Emma, but I'm one of her few fans and this episode is one that I've been waiting for. Emma is s jaded and has great reasons to be. It's one thing to lose your loved one, but it's another to have them betray you, leave you in jail with an unborn child and give you a stolen car as a pity gift. At least that's how it looked and felt like from Emma's eyes.

The heart break aside, I love the chemistry between Emma and Neal: young, naive, careless, overall fun and authentic. I can't say I care much for the Emma/Hook thing. That relationship only got interesting when Emma trapped him in the giant castle. She should've asked for more than 10 hours bc hell probably hath no fury like a Hook scorned.

Ohhhhh boy that ep had me "hooked". Still not seeing the chemistry between emma and hook, but her n neal were awesome. Is it possible that maybe aurora was adopted and not really of fairytale world? What kinda red room could it be? This show keeps me guessing. I think neal is bea. I dnt understand what august was proving by letting emma get her heart broken cause henry was still the one to come to the "real world" n get emma. What was august's purpose? N darming is tooo great. I really love the scene with him n henry

I want Neal to be Baelfire so much but I think that would be just too obvious and Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis are anything but obvious. Last season everyone was sure that August was Baelfire and he was far from it.
This ep was great in that it showed Emma's back story. It was a fitting time because her trust or mistrust of men or people was paramount in making sure she left the Giants place. It also showed us who Henry's father is and the fact that he will be making his way to Storybrooke and a reunion is hopefully on the cards soon enough.

I think that Hook will now side with Cora. He'll do all he can to double cross them.

Aurora and Henry are probably seeing each other, though what that means is very ominous especially if Aurora follows Snow and Emma back to storybrooke.

@Mrs. M : I wasn't saying that Aurora isn't the real sleeping beauty, I just read somewhere that Maleficent had also cast a sleeping curse on Aurora's mother. That's what she was talking about in the pilot. Maybe the sleeping curse on Aurora was Maleficent's revenge?

About fairytale land, I guess you're right, time does seem to pass differently there. Also, maybe a portal can send people in the future... but I do feel that he would keep his memory since it wasn't a curse. But I guess we'll find out in time.

I think that Henry and Aurora had a shared dream in which they were looking at each other... This will probably be the connection that Snow and Charming will use to communicate (like it said in the upcoming episodes synopsiss). And are we not talking about the fact that August STOLE the money Neal left for Emma?! He definitely has an evil side that I think will be explored more in the season.

It stopped about 5-8 mins before closing time for me x.x
But on hearing red room and burning eyes...I'm thinking that Once is possibly going to bring in Bertha Mason from Jane Eyre somehow? But maybe that's a bit too far fetched.

    @Mrs. M
while this originally deter me I think since the real world somewhat tempted August/Pinocchio from "being" the good boy, I wouldn't be surprised if it changed Baelfire as well considering he would have enter the real world as being abandoned by his father because that type of thing and being alone and left to fend for himself would change a person which is why I think Rumple was expecting an angry Baelfire when he met August

@Marisa1983: Aurora is sleeping beauty and not her daughter (at least from the Disney version). And in the version, Prince Philip is the one that wakes her, just like in Once upon a time.

About Rumplestiltskin's son, Baelfire, we know that portal can jump through time and space, so maybe his son was sent to the future? You never know with magic! :P

Question: if Rumplestilskin and Baelfire had jump through that portal, would they have forgotten their life in fairy tale?
If so, there is a possibility of Baelfire being Neal. And seing whatever was inside Arthur's box triggered some of his memory. However, the chance is slim since in the fairy tale world, Baelfire was a straight kid that disaproved of his father's evil ways, so him being a con man is not likly.

As for the theory that Neal is Bae, it still could be a possibility. The magic bean that transported Bae to our world doesn't necessarily have to coincide with the same timeline; the bean could have transported him to our land at a different time period, which could account for Emma and he being around the same age upon their meeting. Time might move faster in the Enchanted Forest than in our world, and when the curse struck "freezing" that land, Emma's entrace into Storybrooke synced both worlds.

I am pretty sure Aurora and Henry were seeing each other and that the dream was familiar to Snow (I couldn't tell if Charming recognized the description). Privately I have always thought that the cursed one in a sleeping spell is somewhere else. I am not sure but I have a feeling Jefferson might know something about this red room (sounds alice like to me). I liked Neal (and seriously...August was making a gamble that Emma was already pregnant...of course he might not have realized the curse breaking). I am wondering if Emma and Neal are actually the duo to provide a path of true love for the girls. As I will now root for a Neal/Emma reunion...I am kind of seeing Hook as a good option for Ruby.

Although the theory that Henry and Aurora were "seeing" eachother makes for a better story, since both only arose from the curse recently.

I wonder if the "he" in Aurora's nightmare is Rumpel and the "she" in Henry's nightmare is Cora...

I think Neal is Baelfire and Henry's dad. I also think that Hook and Emma will "Hookup". I also think that Neal like Emma will be able to come back to Storybook.

Oh what happened to Emma's glasses, she looked so good in them lol.

Why didn't August just approach Emma with the box and convince her to go to Storybrooke to fulfill her destiny. This same situation August created for Emma made her hardened to trust anyone which may have worked against everyone. Emma got the keys for the car, but did she get the money? August spoke of being tempted to the world he lived in, it would be no surprise if he took the money for his own merit. Why didn't he still have the chest when he came to Storybrooke?

Neal was so refreshing, I wonder if he knows he has a son? At least August kept up his word to send Neal a postcard, still doesn't make it any less heartbreaking.

For a sweeps epiosde where we learn who Henry’s father was, this episode was kind of dissapointing. I was looking forward to Jorge Garcia’s role, but it mostly consisted of grunting and roaring. The actual English he said was the cheesiest thing to come out of anybody’s mouth since the pilot (FYI the cheesiest was Regina’s “I will destroy you, if it is the last thing I do… [evil cackle]“. Cheesier than mouse heaven.). I’m also not liking the fact that Storybrooke only got one scene. But it’s still Once Upon a Time, and it’s still awesome! It's the best drama on TV right now.

The more I thonk about Baelfire story, the more I realise he must be so old by now. When he transferred to our world, Rumplestiltskin had just become the dark one, then there was the story with the miller's daughter (Cora) and her baby (Regina). Then Regina grew up and became the queen (about 30 years later) and Rumplestiltskin met Belle. He then lost her and curse happened. And we are now 28 years later. So all of this must have taken about 60 years and considering Baelfire was 14 years old, he can very much be dead or very old...
