A very familiar face will make an appearance on Private Practice Season 6 before this ABC drama says goodbye.

TV Guide has confirmed that Audra McDonald will reprise the role of Naomi Bennett on the upcoming series finale. The best friend of Addison and ex-husband of Sam moved to New York near the end of Season 4.

In real life, the actress also departed for The Big Apple in order to be closer to her family.

No word yet on what brings Naomi back into the Seaside Wellness picture. A reunion of some kind? A wedding? A funeral?
