Regina King to Guest Star on The Big Bang Theory

by at . Comments

Known as a rather intense actress, Regina King will put her comedic chops on display this January.

The Southland star has booked a guest-starring gig on The Big Bang Theory, according to The Hollywood Reporter. She will appear on TV's most-watched sitcom as Mrs. Davis, the director of employee relations at the university where Sheldon works.

Look for the character to question Sheldon after our favorite physicist gets in trouble after a conversation with Margo Harshman's Alex.

Lydia on the Job

King plays Lydia Adams on the aforementioned TNT drama, as well. And Southland Season 5 kicks off on February 13.

TBBT Quotes

Sheldon: I recently read that during World War Two, Joseph Stalin had a research program to create supersoldiers by having women impregnated by gorillas.
Howard: What a sick use of science.
Raj: Hey, as long as the baby's healthy.
Amy: I wonder if Stalin considered any other animals.
Leonard: Hippos are the deadliest creature. A half-human, half-hippo soldier would be pretty badass.
Howard: Yes, but when they're hungry-hungry, you can stop them with marbles.
Sheldon: Yeah, the correct animal for interspecies supersolider is koala. You would wind up with an army so cute it couldn't be attacked.

As soon as we get home, I want to have coitus with Amy. Okay, she can't hear.
