I loved this episode!!!!!!! Damon and Elena scenes(and i am not a delena team) were sensual funny and higly entertaining! Loved relaxed Elena for a change-until her usual re-emerged the secong Boonie appeared! Stefan was solid as always but i didn't like he double-crossed Rebekah!Professor+Bonnie..Professor+Connor= Gold! I also thought Boonie was extremely beautiful tonight! Rebekah has become one of my favourites truly.. Everytime i see her my screens lights up- The highlight of the episode for me was though..Klaus!!! He was in half of the scenes- he was looking better than ever,he old threatning self, sexy, funny, charming, his tear when daggering rebekah broke my heart! I am not sure how i feelabout the cure- but i don't know without it how many things are left to say on the show long-term. I also missed Caroline- I want a Klaroline scene! Common people-pleaseee!

Stefan is HANDS-DOWN the most dumbest character on the show, a brick makes better decisions than him. I think all that gel he puts in his hair seeped into his head and killed tons of brain cells. How is it last season he's gung-ho on killing Klaus so he won't use Elena as a blood bag and now he's making deals with him!? What type of 180 is that?!
Elena just needs to lose it and turn it off, then ditch Stefan. I liked her partying and feeding, it's what vampires DO! She wants to have fun!

I think Stefan was a total coward, never mind that he trying to save Elana, as usual with no results. He allowed Klaus to kidnap and threaten Jeremy and then betrayed Rebakah. For All his bravado, he hasn't saved Elana from anything. Please dagger him, I'm sick of his constant weak attempts to be a hero and a traitor to Elana and Damon.

I was hugely disappointed with this episode. Rebekah and Stefan's 50 Shades of Grey reference were the highlights of this one. It was nice to see Elena let loose and have fun dancing away with Damon at the party. As much as I enjoy that things are typically face paced in this show, they definitely blew it by rushing through the party scene. Elena's struggles through the transition could have been delved into more and given Elena even greater depth and made us feel more for her but instead Bonnie buzz kill stepped in and with one look ruined the whole experience and turned her back into her whiny self. She doesn't need to turn off her humanity but she does need to accept who she truly is which is someone who does like to have fun and enjoy life and not someone who wants to sit around crying and worrying all the time. Damon knows she has it in her to balance the two, and he's trying to show her it is possible while Stefan has no faith in her and is now on his noble quest to find 't

I think that Elena fights the fight every woman is fighting only differently, should she go for the bad guy or the guy who is good for her, wants whats best for her and not for himself. Damon is just selfish, he treats Elena like one of his little slaves, he doesn't really love her deep down like Stefan does, he just wants to have fun with her, he is not able to see the long-term future for Elena other than yes she is a Vampire, so we just have fun and behave like frat boys because that is the life of a Vampire meaningless. Damon would never say that he would become human for Elena. Remember, it was Damon who wanted to be a vampire in the first place although Stefan had to convince him to drink blood and Damon had the desire to be with Katherine, not Stefan. I think in the end, despite his old days; Stefan is still more human than Damon, more importantly he wants to be human and have a normal life. Its his goal to grow and learn, to have a purpose, even grow old and have kids with Elen

I cannot wait until Rebekah returns.! She's going to wreak havoc on all that have betrayed her, maybe she'll team up with Katherine or become a lesbian and date April.
But seriously I love her and she's been daggered by Elena, her brother, tricked by Stefan and so much more. I cannot wait until she returns and reigns as Queen and gets her revenge and hopefully gets Matt.

The more Elena whines about being something she doesn't want to be.. the more I hate her.
Totally agree. But I guess that's why she's in a relationship with Stefan. So they can whine and moan together. Their scenes are so boring I almost fall asleep every time.
The Originals definitely saved the day! Absolutely great - Klaus' badness, Rebekah's tragic faith in the wrong men (including Stefan), Elijah being Elijah... fantastic.
But how can you NOT miss Caroline???

Its Vampirism Matt! Not Vampiredom.
Stefan was his usual ass self. I hate him. How many fkn times has he made a deal with Klaus or worked with Klaus to the detriment of other people? All he claims to want is a peaceful life with Elena but with the deal he has now struck with him, he will never be free of Klaus. Until the day he and Elena die, Klaus will be there. What peaceful life would that be if he has Klaus popping in now and then to get blood from the doppelganger? He is just fkn dumb. absolutely dumb.
I hope that when Rebekah is awakened she rips his head off. Seriously.
And I hope that Rebekah gets some bloody backbone and doesn't fall for every guy who takes an interest in her. My word. Ugh.
Elena belongs with Damon, they have chemistry but what ever.

and another thing: They keep saying that Elena is such a selfless person. Well I think the is the most selfish person alive. not only does she keep 2 people panting after her, it's not as if she want one of them to move on, otherwise she would not have asked Damon to come along and help her. no, she cares for no one but herself. take choosing to save matt. Did she ever stop to think about jeremy? remember, her brother who has lost everyone but her? no, all she cares about is that SHE wouldn't be able to live with the guilt. At least katherine admits that she's a selfisch b*tch. I like her so much better than Elena. At least she's got spirit, something I can't say for Elena.

I liked everything about this episode.. except Elena (and Bonny, but that is a given for me). The more Elena whines about being something she doesn't want to be.. the more I hate her.
I think we'll see more of Elena and Damon together, but while there's a growing bond between them, there's also seems to be a growing sense of despair in Elena. She doesn't want to be Damon. Do you think Damon is pushing her to drink from people so that she will kill someone and then turn off the humanity switch?
Can I just say that there needs to be more Caroline. Always. In every episode. I missed her in this episode. And someone needs to sign Daniel Gillies as a series regular.
Poor beks. I HATED klaus this ep. Jesus jm and clair holt can act. I was HOOKED. Didn't care for damon\elana\bonnie. Boring. Who cares if elana loses control. DIE ELENA DIE!!!! And again: poor beks. I really want matt n beks. Meks? Ratt? Whatever cute name it gets, Iwant it. THAT could be the love story this show is shoving down our throats. Anyone notice that this is the second bonnie ep where she doesn't use powers? IMPROVEMNT LOL

The Good:
1. Claire is a spectacular actress! You feel so sorry for Rebekah! Plus she made me feel hatred for a character I lived since day 1 (Klaus)
2. Shirtless guys other than Damon! ;)
3. Flashbackksss!!! Yayyy!
The Bad:
1.I was expecting bigger and more unpredictable than a simple "CURE"! Sorry but Im disappointed that this was the big info was, so we were excited for nothing..
2. The whole Elena Bonnie Damon thing was overshadowed by everything else and was pretty pointless!!
3. Rebekah got daggered for the millionth time! Really getting old! And Klaus was extra mean, hate him now!
4. I hate how Kol gets mentioned but never shown!!! Ugh!

This episode was strong because it paired the people with the most powerful connections and chemistry: Klaus, Stefan and Rebekah and all combinations thereof. Damon and Elena. And let's say Bonnie and her sanctimonious remarks and looks of disapproval. Can't even take that girl to a frat party.
Although we could see the cure was coming, it was no less intriguing. Well done.

I don't think Alexander will be there either... I don't think that is the last we've seen the last of him... which will be intersting in the long run for REbekah, if she ever gets undaggered, which i hope she does because this is the first i've liked of her... also bring back Elijah!!!

I enjoyed this episode..i enjoy fast paced episodes, but i like when they dial it back and just give you a good storyline.. you have elena and damon.. bonnie... stefan and klaus.. connor and jeremy.. matt and rebekah.. did miss caroline this ep but we had enough on our plate.. Elena annoys me sometimes.. tonight imparticular..as far as she goes, there is no cure for her.. she needs to get over herself and understand how her life will be.. if she keeps letting her emotions take over, that is actually when she will lose control. tonight was actually the first time I enjoyed rebekah since they introduced her... she's always been this bratty vengeful bword.. tonight she was sweet and kind.. and showed a side of her that was likeable.. even lovable... she was betrayed by her love.. one she trust enough to tell the truth about herself even though he was a hunter. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I dont think when klaus goes looking for that sword, its going to be there.. I don

I loved this episode. I felt really bad for rebekah in this one because all she wants is to love and to be loved back. Watching Elena and Damon together was great and I think we'll probably really see Elena loose control. When klause used the dagger on rebekah and he had that one tear it made me think he actually does really care deep down and he has feelings deep down he just never shows them because he doesn't want to get hurt. Can't wit till next episode.
