I think I should add, I'm a huge huge fan of Rick and Michonne's friendship (from the comic) so I was just really happy we're finally there. Anyway, I'll admit, I'm biased when it comes to thinking the episode is great because obviously, it finally moved the story where I wanted it.
Really hoping the telephone storyline plays out as a way for Rick to put himself together, and get closer to Michonne.
Also, can we please name the baby now? I can't remember if comic-her had a name.
I hope Andrea goes over to the dark side, redeeming her is just silly.
And as for Merle, he's still the same asshole, just better at hiding it. I already feel pain for Daryl.

WEAKER EPISODE? As a testament to how GREAT this episode was, I was shouting at the screen the whole time: "IS THIS REALLY HAPPENING? OHMYGOD MIHCONNE JUST SAW GLENN AND MAGGIE. OHMYGOD MICHONNE'S GOING TO MEET RICK. "
IT WAS GREAT. The only moment my excitement died down was when Rick picks up the baby, I had to stop shouting and appreciate how beautiful that moment was. And all the scenes with Andrea in them. I just want to hit her with a brick.
I think I'm in love with Daryl. Loved how he was with her knife, and with Carl. So cute.
I'm actually trembling, I'm that excited. I need something to keep me busy for the coming week!

I really hope Andrea has a plan in her mind (like "gaining the Governor's trust to find out what's wrong in Woodburry and have some fun in between"). But right now, I actually think she's just not that clever. Her scenes were boring and cheesy, she's indeed the new Lori.
Also I didn't like the scenes with Rick and the telephone, though I have to admit it was great acting.
What I don't get - is Merle really still the murderous sociopath? He seemed to have pulled it together in the first episodes, so why the hell didn't he just wait for his brother? Why does he think two captives are so valuable for the Govenor that he'd forgive Merle for not bringing Michonne's head and sword?
Happy to see Carol back! I was so glad when Daryl found her.

This episode felt a bit mechanical as far as very literally moving the pieces around on the board, but with Michonne at the prison and Glenn and Maggie captured by the Governor, the dynamic is now very different going into the last couple of episodes of this fall run. While "Hounded" wasn't great –and I really hope Andrea can be made stronger and better defined very soon –there’s obviously plenty of high stakes scenarios brewing for the characters, now that The Governor has a couple of people who know about the prison.

Oh Andrea ...... The idea that she was kind of into the gladiator fights was an interesting one, but didn’t really resonate, as Andrea is always all over the place. A lot of scenes with her this week just felt off and awkward, such as when she sat with her would-be archer tutor and they bonded over lost love ones, which fell flat. The idea was clearly that both these women have lost a lot and the other gal was initially trying to cover up her pain, but it just kind of felt goofy when she said, “Sucks, right?” about having had to kill her dad and brother.
The “love” scenes between The Governor and Andrea also didn’t really work. There was some fairly silly dialogue in a few scenes this week,and some of The Governor and Andrea’s flirty back-and-forth -- “It just happens.” “Other things happen…” -- were more laughable than provocative.

I think I offically had it with Andrea. She has taken over the role of the now dead Lori. As my most hated character on the show. I thought her character had promise in season 1. But now she is just the town slut. The producers should just go with it and turn her into a full on villian. In my opinion. I don't you can redeem her character after this episode.
